Finally, I’m almost done with the ‘thank you’ cards. Just a couple more to go.
Back to work again yesterday. Think it’ll be the last or second last time that I’ll be wearing green, and certainly am I having mixed feelings. There’s undoubtedly a sense of achievement, and also gratitude. Yet also I feel a little disappointed and bitter. Looking back on these 2 years, what have a gained? What have I lost? Perhaps it’s time to evaluate.
I’m so sleepy now that I can’t think straight. Everything seems so surreal. Sometimes, we really wonder what’s installed for us tomorrow. What if tomorrow never comes? How different would things be? Would it be the same? Would mysteries unfold themselves?
I think I should sleep. Sleeping is good. No worries. No pain. But just the occasional dreams or maybe nightmares. It’s a temporary escape, or even like a back-door. When run through that door, we hope that when we open our eyes, things would be better, life would be easier somehow, and history might actually change itself.
It’s a paradise for those who don’t want to come face to face with themselves. They run, they hide. It’s like alcohol or drugs, less its negative side effects. It’s easy and painless. Just close your eyes, and zone out.
Haha. For Pete’s sakes! What utter rubbish. Lame reasons just to sleep early. BAH!
