Fun-fair

I had a really hard time falling asleep last night. Find it quite difficult to fall asleep when you actually have a piece of gauze in the mouth. And when I fell asleep, subconsciously I somehow knew that I was shifting the gauze into the proper position with my tongue. So eww.

Woke up with a really funny, or rather, weird taste in the mouth. The gauze was soaked with a mixture of blood and overnight-saliva. Thank goodness the wound healed overnight and no more gauze today. Which means, I can eat normal! Owells. Still having this ‘weak knee’ effect when I get out of bed. Sighs. Do I really have to give up playing?

Had to take the train down to church, instead of the bus. Was running late as I took quite a long while to prepare and consume my breakfast as I experienced problems chewing fast using only the right side of the jaw.

The church was having a fun-fair and ‘sale’ to help raise funds for the re-building. It sure was fun to see everyone helping out and making it a real fun day. There were food stalls at the car-park, where all the ‘aunties’ made some REALLY nice food from home. There were pizzas, muah-chees, pasta, bah-zhang, green bean soup, ice cream, and more home-recipe stuff. Mouth-watering.

Near the hall, stalls were set up and they sold things like hand bags, shoes, women accessories, books, clothes, etc. It was like a mini night market that they used to have at TPY. And then there were games stalls at the outdoors. Tents were set up in case it rained. The games were really creative and absolutely interesting. Really good ideas that I think might come in handy next time.

It was really interesting to actually tend one of the game stores. Earned quite a bit. Haha. Looking at the rest, I think we earned the most. Haha. Must have been our persuasiveness and all the ‘free try free try’ we shouted. Left at 12 plus, in case mummy got upset. Managed to grab a few gifts for Ber and Ms Chong. Thought it would be good to buy them something since they paid but left their tickets with me.

Came back home to see someone online, and apparently she wanted to go out so bad, but didn’t know where she wanted to go. Wonder where she went after that. Haha. Caught a few episodes of DH as I was too lazy to write the ‘thank you’ cards I got for my colleagues.

Went to get KFC for the ‘surprise’ Mother’s day dinner I was planning earlier on. Ended up dad and eric wasn’t home. But owells, it was a good mother and son time. Haha. Had 3 pieces of chicken breasts. Don’t know why I like breast (meat) better. It’s just… nicer. But generally I think people like the wings and drumsticks more.

But anyway, Happy Mother’s day to all the mothers out there. And those we’ve yet to tell your mum you love them, time to do so. Say, “I love you mum!” Well, you don’t actually have to say it out. But I guess a little act of love or a simple gesture like a hug or kiss, or even a card would do. I think mums would appreciate that. =)

I’m confused. What should I do? My hands are tied, my mind’s like a whirlpool and my emotions are being thrown into the fray. How can all these be actually true? Is it real? Or is it all a lie?
