My ladies

Managed to pull up my CA score for chemistry. Should have totally ‘owned’ the paper… all thanks to some uncharacteristic carelessness, mistaking a ‘-‘ for a ‘+’. Owells. Shall not complain. All’s done and I’m glad.

Exams are in 7 days time. The atmosphere here in the university has changed. The tension, the nervousness, the panic… Dark circles and eye bags have found their way to the faces of many people; many of whom are turning into mugging drones. Still, there are handfuls who have found time to enjoy themselves. Handfuls of very, very lost people.

We’re one of the lost ones. 8 days to the exams and we found ourselves running round the court, edging and taunting and laughing at each other. It’s amazing. And now, the panicking starts.

But there’re no regrets. For it was a great finale. Looking forward to the post-exams games. And I’m still vying for the starting berth. The one with the best shot in the team? Maybe. If my knee holds up that is.

For now, there’s going to be an insurmountable amount of reading, writing, memorizing, cursing, swearing and hair pulling. 4.0 is within grasp but the phrase ‘so near yet so far’ has never been more true than ever.

Thermodynamics, HR management, Engineering mathematics, Applied Chemistry, Materials structure and behavior, Media in America. My six very good girlfriends. Will be having them in my thoughts even when I sleep for the next 3 weeks. After which, they’re all gonna be forgotten. Sad. But true.

Alrights. Ms Thermodynamics is calling for me now. She needs a back rub. Hope she’ll be nice and not toss too much.

TEST tmr!

Been up since 9.30am. Have been mugging for the statistical thermodynamics test on tomorrow morning. Oh my poor brain. Resorted to memorizing most of the stuff: it’s just TOO hard to understand the blardy concepts. Urgh. Though I’m done reading, but am still not 10/10 confident. Owells. Since when was I ever a 100%? Maybe if I were to take the PSLE or Olevels again…. Haha. My weird fantasies.

Spent the weekend having some real fun. Tanning, lunching by the pool, MJ (lost 4 bucks!), filling dinner, Spongebob and supper, over-nighting, hiking on Saturday morning, revision in the afternoon, dinner with the nice people at night, and ‘cohesion’ at cousin’s place. Picked up Eric on Sunday morning, slept in the noon, church in the evening, dinner at home and back in school. Woots!

Sooooooooo, PE, have you found out what a blow-up doll is? Hehe. I thought we were kinda lucky that the lady sitting beside be was plugged in to her music player. Hah! I thought you were a bit… NOT very discreet huh. =)

I’m so going for the Oktoberfest next year. Sausages and beer. Free flow. How cool is that?

Alright now. Good luck to all the people with exams and tests tmr. Hope you won’t be needing it. I’m sure I’ll be needing lots. Nites.

Recently

Activities that I’ve been engaged in recently:

1. Getting my right eye really swelled up. Saw a doc and hopefully it goes away by the end of the week. Some dumb glands getting blocked.
2. Thinking about what he’s doing over in China. How fast he’s grown. Amazing.
3. Trying really very hard to catch up with the lectures and tutorials. Managed to complete a report last Saturday. Two major quizzes next week. Two major hair-pullers.
4. Fighting with the Z monster.
5. Finishing up JP’s ‘you’ve been warned’. Mind-bloggling. Ending’s a spine-chiller. Anyone interested? I’ll be glad to share.
6. Preventing myself from slipping whenever I’m wearing my slippers. Doesn’t help when it’s raining all the time.
7. Playing some basketball with the hall people. Looking forward to the Wednesdays and occasional Thursdays. Having quite a good jump-shot lately. Feeling good – at last.
8. Worrying for the people taking their Os. Praying hard for all of them. Final hurdle.
9. Worrying for the people in Southern California. The fire is wild. Praying that it stabilizes soon. Be safe alright?
10. Procrastinating. Should have changed my bed sheet last weekend. I’m still sleeping on the same one I’ve slept on two weeks back. Oops.
11. Hoping that money would pop out somewhere. I need new footwear. Slippers and shoes. They’re smooth. Real smooth.
12. Dreaming about Christmas. It’s the season to be jolly!
13. Dreaming about not having exams.
14. Fantasizing about time turning back, and I shall be the smartest kid who scores 300 for PSLE and one point for O levels.
15. Thinking that I should sleep now. Gotta wake at 7.

Please let my swelling go away. I can’t see! urgh.

Sheep

This is my daily reading from “My journey” today. Really interesting and cute in a certain sense. Haha. =)

--

Psalms 23:1-4
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. HE makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Reading: I didn’t grow up on a farm. I grew up in new subdivisions with newly paved streets and pristine houses. So there weren’t any sheep in our neighborhood. As a result, I knew next to nothing about the creatures. So I decided to do a little bit of research and found three facts about sheep that intrigued me.

The first thing I learned was this: sheep are stupid. Every few years or so, I take my family to the “greatest show on earth” – Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus. We’ve seen trained lions, trained elephants, trained horses and even trained poodles. But we’ve never seen trained sheep. There’s an explanation for that: sheep are stupid.

We are called sheep numerous times in Scripture. And I know that the principle of stupidity certainly fits in my life (I’ll let you make any personal application of the principle to your own life.) that’s why I need a shepherd. I’m sheep and I’m dumb. And as a result, sometimes I make dumb decisions. Sometimes I refuse to learn from past mistakes and repeat them over and over again. That’s when I get discouraged.

The second thing I learned about sheep is this: sheep is dirty. Growing up in the city, I had always thought that pigs were dirty, but much to my surprise, I discovered that sheep are much worse. They are dirty animals that need someone to keep them clean. That’s why sheep need a shepherd. That’s why God calls us sheep – we need s Shepherd to keep us clean.

The third thing I learned about sheep is that sheep are defenseless. Most animals have some type of defense mechanism to protect them from assailants, but not sheep. There have actually been incidents of ravens or crows flying down on a sheep’s head and plucking out the sheep’s eyes. They can’t bark, spew venom, or use sharp claws. Sheep are defenseless. That’s why they need a shepherd.

We NEED our Shepherd.

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I’m a sheep.

this is not good

Nothing seems to be going right now for me huh… owells.

--

Got new pair of jeans 2 weeks back; the colour ran and stained my Levis’ shirts. (ouch!)

Just got my laundry back from the laundry room; it’s raining. (Tsk!)

Spent days preparing for today’s math test; I needed ONE more minute to get the answers. (Urgh!)

One more month to the first exam paper; I’m super lost for Thermodynamics and there’s no drive to start studying for it. (pfffffft…)

Been trying to sleep early every night; I end up sleeping at 3am. (zzzzzZz)

--

I ought to buck up really soon. Getting plunged into a class of 200 really smart asses. The constant stress to catch up with them is immense. How the heck did they get so smart?!?

GPA 4.0. I’m just 0.8 away. Somehow, it seems to be slipping away.

--

Attended the leader’s training for the Church Camp last Saturday. Fun, fun, fun. But the task ahead is not gonna be easy. 12-17 year olds. 10 of them. I wonder how patient I can be.

This is interesting. Got it from Yaoliang: time management is for smart people; stupid people have got no time to manage.

How true is that? My opinion? VERY TRUE. And somehow, there doesn’t seem to be much time for me to manage.

--

Shall hang up my clothes in the room to air dry. It’s still pouring outside. So much to do, but yet my bones ain’t feel like moving.

This is not good.

Tuesday, October 9

my nose is bleeding.

Yay. I’m finally done with the HRM & entrepreneurship project. It’s due next Tuesday and finally we’ve settled down on what to do. Spent a few hours doing my part in the afternoon… and YES it is done. Taking a break now. It was such a pain in the ass. Hah.

Thank you so much Ber, for helping me out with this project. You really should have seen the faces of my group mates when I showed them the printout you gave me. Haha. Priceless. =) thanks!

Having a maths test next Monday. Somehow, I foresee myself not having enough time to revise for it. Assignments for these 2 days, tuition on Thursday, dad’s birthday on Friday, church camp leaders’ training on Saturday, service and tuition on Sunday. Hmmm. Not good not good. Owells. Still, there’ll be light. Keeping faith. =)

Eric’s done with his PSLE. Think he’s kinda screwed for maths. Hope everything goes well. Praying praying praying. People, if you would, please help me pray too. =)

Had steamboat at Joel’s hall yesterday night. Got Songyi along. I’m glad that I asked him. Too much food. We ate over Joel’s rice cooker. Balls, veg, meat, dang hoon, more meat, beer and Twisties. Woots! Was continually being fed with Dang Hoon. Craps. Haha.

And oh, gorilla’s armpit. BAH haha!

--

How’s the 2GB thumbdrive coming aloing? Hahha. Found a cheaper one at Popular? =)

--

House shifting twice in a week. Amazing. I seriously hope that you find time for your work. That’s of utmost importance now. Nothing else.

--

I hope you know what you are doing. Please. I don’t wish to see you broken again.

--

June, July, August. Singapore, Thailand, Japan. You really think I’m mad? Sighs. I thought we are all mad people.

My bad. My apologies for entertaining such thoughts.

--

PE! Has your knee healed? Got your muscle rub?

--

I love my mini desk top vacuum cleaner. Especially useful for cleaning up my bread crumbs. Hah!

--

I’m praying for good weather tmr evening. Time for some action. Woots. =)

Friday, October 5

oct 5th

Ok. People have been bugging me to update my blog. Haha. Oops! =p

--

Just had the horrific Applied Chemistry test today. Like I said, horrific. Should be pass-able. But still……. TSk.

Been up till early mornings these few days. Been atrociously tired during lessons. Skipped 3 hours of lecture on Tuesday. Fell ill on the day before. Drowned myself with Pipagao and honey water. And thank God it went away the day after. =)

Showed Songyi my room after CS803 lecture on Wednesday. Saw the basketball in my room and he got tempted. And so we went to the NIE courts. Supposed to just shoot for an hour. Ended up coming back at 8pm. We left at 5.30pm. Haha. And I played my first full match. Well, I played 7 matches actually. Won all of them. Felt good. Endorphin charged. Haha. Think we’re entering the street challenge organized by the Sports Rec Centre end of this month. I shall be the reserve. Somehow, I’m eyeing for the starting position for our inter-hall team. Ambitious. But achievable.

My HRM team is kinda screwed. Two more weeks to the deadline and we’re still empty-handed. Hope Ott is free this weekend and give us the interview. Really really need it. we’re so so desperate now. OTT!!! ARE U READING THIS? Haha. *fingers crossed*

Think I shall go take a shower now. too many things to do, too little time. Well, the weekend is coming! Plenty of stuff planned out. Woots. =)

And oh, I’ve completed my collection of Alex Cross. Haha.

Wednesday, September 26

first 2 days of recess

Yes yes! It’s 3.30am! I’ve been doing nonsensical stuff since 12midnight with roomie. Haha. It’s a happy week so far.

Came to hall early afternoon yesterday. Went off the Alexandra for physio. We trotted around and played soccer. Haha. I think I should stick to my ESPN. Can’t kick the ball straight for crying out loud. URGH.

Anyways, headed to Queensway SC. Bought jeans and a pair of shades. Retail therapy. =) Met up with PE, Hoon, Alv and Ber for dinner at Secret Recipes. EH. Or was it Sweet Recipes. Hmmm. Clarification anyone? Haha. Shared cakes and traded chicken. And yes, we’ve finally decided to go Sentosa at the end of this year. After all the merry-go-round discussions we had, Sentosa is the place. Yes yes. Sounds exciting.

Alright, now my roomie’s playing his guitar. Hmmmm. Much to learn from him. MUhahaa. Shall bug him to teach my Classical Gas.

Had a meeting last night. I think it was kinda crap lah. To put it simple: “all say, no action”, or “say only, don’t want to do”, or “bochup” or whatever it is. I’m trying very hard not to judge and be pessimistic here. Trust me, trying VERY hard.

Slept late, woke up early, met up with Neo and headed to the NIE gym. Had breakfast together and we’ve decided to meet up this weekend to ‘dry swim’. One ‘leg’ short though. HMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Started with the lab report at 11am. Did all the way till 7pm. Roomie came back and off we went to shoot some hoops. Came back couple of hours later and finished up the darn report. YES! I’VE FINISHED MY LAB REPORTS FOR THIS SEM!!! Wooooooooooooo hooooooooo! =)

Helped him with some fluid mechanics questions and soon after, the nonsensical activities started. Went Hall 3 and got coke, mixed with his Raspberry Vodka and made ourselves flush. Played the guitar, played cards, did laundry, ate peanut butter with nutella sandwich, chatted online and just wasting time away.

Been doing that since 12. Goodness. It’s 3.38am! Shit. I should go soon. Nights. Frankly, I don’t why I’m blogging here. I don’t know what I’m talking about, and probably can’t remember a thing about blogging when I wake up later. Anyhows, cheers!

PS: I’m not drunk.
PPS: SongYi got a hall! I foresee many supper nights in days to come. And of course hoop shooting. Hoorah.

--

LYDD, sill having headache?

--

I think you were too nice. Should have just insisted on not working for that extra day. It was kinda unreasonable, don’t you think? You were too nice to your boss lah.

Why not try being a bit nicer to me?!?
--

Don’t despair. Remember what we heard last Sunday during service? Remember it. Just continue working hard for it. You’ve be fine. You will reap your rewards in time to come.

--

Raspberry Vodka with coke ain’t the best concoction around. But I guess that’s the best we have here.

I shall try and ‘steal’ some space from Joel’s fridge. MUahhaa.

--

Time to brush my teeth and sleep. HEHE.

GOOD MORNING!

Monday, September 24

i should be sleeping...

Think I’ve been eating too much fried chicken this couple of days. Weight is spiking! Not good not good.

Had some chicken mac-nuggets on Thursday night with roomie. Brought some beer back to ‘celebrate’ our probably-flunked tests. Soon after he decided to open up his raspberry Vodka. Had a quarter mug of it. Had the best sleep I’ve had for 2 weeks that night. Ha.

Had Kenny Rogers on Friday. Big plate of Caesars’ and a plate of quarter. Dropped by Weihong’s place at midnight. Zihao and Maurice were there too. Somehow, I’m rather sure that he has torn his ligaments. Everything sounded so similar. Shall wait for his MRI in October.

Went to the gym on Saturday afternoon. Shouldn’t have worn that pair of short shorts. Was a mite too sexy. Oops. Headed down for late lunch at Bugis, and then off to church for the talk on homosexuality. Interesting stuff. Really. Saw some not so nice pictures of HIV patients. Hmmm. There was much to learn.

Headed to Chujie’s and caught a couple of soccer matches. Had a few pieces of LJS’s chicken. Chatted a lot. And kinda concluded that Chelsea’s screwed, and Arsenal might win the league. We shall see.

And so, went for tuition this morning. Was thinking how many times I have taught ‘acid, bases and salt’… cause I’ve come to realize that the textbook is no longer a necessity in teaching it. Maybe I’ve even come to setting questions tougher than those they could find in the TYS. Haha. okok. I’m boasting.

Went for service in the afternoon. Had a special guest today. Haha. Glad that you came. =) And oh, octopus have got TENTACLES alright? =)

Had dinner at home tonight. Fried rice, fried chicken. Oh man. I need burn it off soon.

Alrights… I’m supposed to be sleeping right now. Man Utd have just beaten Chelsea with a pretty 2-0. Newcastle won convincingly against Westham with 3-1. And I caught a little of Constantine on the TV again. I think this is the 3rd or 4th time I’m watching it. And yes, I’ve been trying to start on my final lab report for the semester, but to no avail. But I did manage to compute the data and statistics. Guess I’m just left with the research and report compilation. I sense many sleepless nights ahead.

Oh oh! Happy birthday to you! You know who you are. =) Glad that you’ve been ‘missing’ me huh. hahaha. It’s my pleasure. See you soon!

--

Tonnes of stuff going on in my head right now. They go to bed with me each night, and they’re still there each morning when I wake up. My angels and devils. They’re crawling in.

--

Give me a reason to believe. Give me a reason to hope. Tell me that this is what you want too.

Monday, September 17

new week.

Long week. Tutorials, reports, essays.

More coming up this week. Tutorials, reports, essays. AND quizzes. How nice. Thermodynamics and Material structure & mechanical behavior. Ouch.

On a lighter note, I’m really grateful for the hall. An answered prayer. Though for the better or the worst, only God knows.

Oh, roomie’s great though. Think I’ve found a twin brother. Too many similarities – it’s freaky. Trust me. Well, not appearance wise.(he’s a head taller than me.) Haha. Amazing. Scary.

--

Think I’m now a fan of both Beans and Spinelli. Hahha. Starbucks’ still a no-no.

--

Thanks for constantly bugging me to do my essay. Haha. I really was contemplating the idea of paying you to get it done for me. Oops! You switched your job yet?

--

Hmmm. Like I said, “Love is patient, love is kind.” Perhaps it is like you’ve said; only time can tell. But never forget this: you’re given the power to choose. So make use of it. Make a choice. Choose to try; or choose not to.

--

‘hey there delilah’ is hurting my left index. Think I’m not good at barring the frets. Owells. At least I got to know how to play it. Not well though. But I’m happy.

It’s on that CD you have. But this is from me. =)

Hey there Delilah what’s it like in New York City?
I’m a thousand miles away but girl tonight you look so pretty
Yes you do
Times Square can’t shine as bright as you
I swear it’s true.

Hey there Delilah don’t you worry about the distance
I’m right there if you get lonely
Give this song another listen
Close your eyes
Listen to my voice it’s my disguise
I’m by your side.

Oh it’s what you do to me
Oh it’s what you do to me
Oh it’s what you do to me
Oh it’s what you do to me
What you do to me

Hey there Delilah I know time are getting hard
But just believe me girl
Someday I’ll pay the bills with this guitar
We’ll have it good
We’ll have the life we knew we would
My word is good

Hey there Delilah I’ve got so much left to say
If every simple song I wrote for you
Would take your breath away
I’d write it all
Even more in love with me you’d fall
We’d have it all

Oh it’s what you do to me
Oh it’s what you do to me
Oh it’s what you do to me
Oh it’s what you do to me

A thousand miles seems pretty far
But they’ve got planes and trains and cars
I’d walk to you if I had no other way
Our friends would all make fun of us
And we’ll just laugh along because we know
That none of them have felt this way
Delilah I can promise you
That by the time we get through
The world will never ever be the same
And you’re to blame

Hey there Delilah you be good and don’t you miss me
Two more years and you’ll be done with school
And I’ll be making history like I do
You’ll know it’s all because of you
We can do whatever we want to
Hey there Delilah here’s to you
This one’s for you

Oh it’s what you do to me
Oh it’s what you do to me
Oh it’s what you do to me
Oh it’s what you do to me
What you do to me.

6 hours till I wake. My peanut butter sandwich awaits! Nites peeps.

Oh, happy bday Enje. May you get sexier this year my dear cousin. Haha.

Saturday, September 8

Past 2 days.

cheers!

Bought two more JP books on Thursday at Borders. Madness. 20% storewide if you’re a teacher or student, and additional 10% for members. Had to patiently queue for the books. 30%. Resisted the temptation to get Mitch Albom’s ‘for one more day’. Kinda hoping someone would get it for me. Haha. Saving up to get my ESV thinline Bible.

Spent the entire Saturday rushing my lab report. Sorry Ber… Hehe. Kept bugging you to teach me how to plot the graphs. Hope I wasn’t disturb you with er-HEM. Haha!

Will be shifting stuff into my room tomorrow. Won’t be staying there for the next 3 weeks though. Gonna stay home till Eric finishes his PSLE. Oh man… how I wish I was still in primary school. Haha!

Just done packing… shall take a shower and hit the sack soon. But am really tempted to see England lose to Israel at midnight. Heh.

--

On a side note, think our church was approached by the Boys Brigade, looking for potential officers. I was asked if I was interested. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

--

Sun and moon and what? Never heard of it before. But I guess it cost you a bomb huh? Haha. Nonetheless, shopping continues tomorrow. Right? heh.

--

Was packing. Thinking of how your nose turned sneezy when you were helping me pack. How everything was so organized. How you made everything felt so right.

--

Me and my ego. Freaking ego.

--

Pictures from Ber's birthday dinner.

Happy birthday!~
Colgate/Darlie should employ us.
Random shot?
It was SUPPOSED to be a really nice shot. All thanks to the finger and spoon.
Okay. we were trying to act gay. ALRIGHT. I was trying to act gay. DARN.

Wednesday, September 5

SHARE MY JOY!!

I’VE GOT A HALL!

HALL 16!!! Woo-HOO!

THANK GOD! YeeeeeeeeeeeeeAH! =)

Friday, August 31

this place's dusty!!

Wow. This place is dusty. Oh man. Haven’t been updating much have I? Quite some people are already complaining. Haha! My bad my bad. =)

Okay. Let’s see… quite a few things are up in my head.

Firstly, I would like to thank you girls so much for turning up at my church to see me give my ‘speech’. Haha. Really appreciate it. I know you guys got kinda bored halfway through the entire service… haha. Anyways, I’m really glad that you came! =)

And you! Who was supposed to be asleep when you called before I shared my testimony! Thanks for clearing my head whilst waiting for my turn to share. You were a GOOD distraction. Heh. And yes, it went perfectly well. I think my Chinese is not that bad after all. Ha! =) time to brush up on yours! I shall send you a copy soon. I’ll TRY to send it soon. *fingers crossed*

Next up! Had physio a few days back. Did the biodex tests. Well, the biodex is this really huge machine that tests the strength of the quads and hamstrings and many other muscles groups. So here are the results…

RIGHT QUADS: 152.1lbs
LEFT QUADS: 165.0lbs
Deficit -8.5%

RIGHT H/S: 89.0lbs
LEFT H/S: 74.5lbs
Deficit: 19.9%

So I read the legend when I got the results…
1-10% = No significant difference between extremities.
11-25% = Rehabilitation recommended to improve muscle performance balance.
>25% = Significant functional impairment.

Well, it’s quite obvious that my left hamstrings are much weaker than my right. That’s kinda expected… BUT! Haha. A negative value for deficit was not explained in the legend. Couldn’t be that bad would it? Well apparently not. It’s bad, but not too bad. Depending on how you look at it. -8.5% means that my left quads are 8.5% STRONGER than my right. Cool huh? The phyios were surprised too. Guess all that gymming’s starting to pay off. Time to work more on the H/S.

Went for a little ‘tanning’ today. Went to shoot some hoops. Haha! I’m gonna miss my free Fridays. Lab work’s starting next Friday. Shoots. And I’ll be piled with lab reports…Crap. Think ling got a little burnt today. Right? Haha. Anyways, we ought to pay Celest a visit one day. Maybe we can ‘kope’ some mooncakes from her. Raffles hotel right? High class mooncakes that we cannot afford. Haha. =)

Wanted to pay my primary school teachers a visit today. Couldn’t wake up. Hah! Slept a mite too late last night. But owells, everything happens for a reason. Yes yes. And you! You know who you are… no matter what, you know the few of us will always be right here with you, alright? Do what you need to do… do what is right. And not let temptation overcome you, ya? Take care! =)

LING! How’re you in the States? Haven’t heard from you for quite a while… How’s everything going? Have you hooked up with Jess? Hehe. Hope to hear from you.

And dear XS. Haha. Kinda pity that you didn’t receive my reply. I guess we were BOTH muddle-heads. Haha. SO! You thought of name yet? Hee.

Okays. What else?? I feel like ranting about school work but I think that’s gonna take a really long time. So, to cut things short, I’m back to my ‘hair-pulling’ habits and soon enough there won’t be much of it left. Hah!

I guess… that’s all for now. I shall slack and play some football manager, listen to some music. Hehe. =) Mugging shall continue on Sunday.

Sunday, August 12

It's already sunday

Wow. It’s already Sunday. Time is flying by too quickly.

--

Thursday: Rush hour 3, Vivo, Republic. Water down the front, water in between. My apologies. Haha! Like you said, all for the fun of it. Right? Thanks for the shirt. Mum thinks it’s sexy. Oops.

Friday: Skipped the lecture. Decided to stay in Bishan. Played some MJ. Dinner has a little queasy effect on me.

Saturday: Gym in the morning. Thank you for your gift from Vietnam. Haha. People were staring. Oh, we’re all gonna wear the same shirt when we celebrate your birthday. This time round, you’ll see five stars instead of one. =)

Mugging in the afternoon. 3hours of webcast of material science. Not that hard to digest. Much better than crystals & symmetry and applied chem..

Dinner at home. Soccer. Sunderland won. Yay. Liverpool won. Boo. Newcastle won. Yay. Hah!

Sunday: Breakfast with family at AMK. I don’t like what I saw. Sighs. Tuition with Benjamin. Stayed back in church for the full dress rehearsal.

And so… a new week beckons. Dreading it somehow. Seriously considering flat rentals.

--

LING! Who’s that guy who’s making you happy?

--

I found ‘kiss the girls’. Finally.

Like I said, I’m spending too much on a guy. Yes, a guy. This is not good. But it’s all worthwhile… he makes me fantasize, he makes me happy. He indulges me in a world free of worries, full of excitement.

Patterson’s the name. I’m spending too much on his books. 25books now and counting.

--

No matter how many times you need to try to get it right, you just keep trying till you get it right. There’re no other ways… right?

--

Yes. These are my problems.

Indeed the black spots on white area are few and unimportant. But that’s how it works in my head I guess. Focusing on the black.

Walking in another person’s skin too often is my flaw too. It’s burdening.

--

I’m sorry if I’ve dissected you up, in and out. But I really thought that you should know what my thought and perceptions were.

I shall stop if you’re not pleased.

因为他是万主万之主。

Wednesday, August 8

High

Day 2.

Train ride was better. Woke up ten minutes earlier and the crowd wasn’t that bad. Or maybe cause it is Tuesday? Don’t know.

Lecture starts at 0830. Called Joel at 0815 and he was still asleep. OH man. How I miss the luxury of owning a hostel room.

Almost had introduction to thermodynamics. Had to re-read the notes two times to grasp everything.

Caught up with Eric, Rick and Songyi. All of them doing Mechanical. Makes me wonder if switching to Materials Science was a good idea. Owells. I’m happy with where I am. =)

Had the first lecture for Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship. 3 hour lecture. Ended in 2.5hours. Interesting video named ‘WHO MOVED MY CHEESE?’. Thought it was rather cool. Haha.

Had hot choc at Spinelli. Touched up on my tutorials. Thanks for the new t-shirt! I shall try and do some stretching to it.

Went to the basketball court and shoot some hoops. Good to be there again. No jumping though. Played ABC+3-2-1 alone. Total of 17 shots to completed the circuit. Missed 24times on the first try. Missed 14times on the second. 16 on the third. And 4 on the last. Ended on a high. I’m happy. =)

Long day ahead tomorrow. Electives. Can you believe it? If I don’t get the modules I want, I’ll be taking this mod called Traditional Chinese Medicine. It’s conducted by Chinese lecturers, IN CHINESE. Goodness. Fingers crossed.

Time to knock out. Nights people. Enjoy your holidays. =)

Monday, August 6

drained.

Day one.

Insane. The people on the train at Jurong East were insane. I was literally squashed to a prata on the train. I wonder why the people insists on boarding the train even though it’s fully packed. And I mean FULLY packed. Worst than sardines in a can. You can smell the socks of the person standing beside you. Well, almost.

It’s bad.

I need a space in the hostels.
I need to sleep.

Almost got killed by math. Numerical methods. All the numbers…..!!! madness.

Most certainly got killed by Chemistry. Applied Chemistry to be exact. So you think significant numbers and decimal places are easy? Think again. And here comes Mr Moles again. Molar calculation. And I thought it was easy. Until they start playing around with the blardy units. Goodness.

Need sleep now. Finished my math tutorial. Half more of Chem tutorial to go. Joel says I’m crazy and should take it easy. I’m thinking of having a nice break this Thursday to Sunday. Shall be kiasu and complete my tutorials soon.

--

Went jogging just now. Think it was 2.4km. Didn’t really take note. Relying too much on my good leg. Not good not good.

Back aching again. Painkillers? Should I? hmmmm…

--

Happy birthday to you MADM! Hope you enjoyed your birthday celebration last weekend. Meet up soon? Have got something for ya.

--

Have got a couple of thoughts up in my head. Shall try and jot it down tomorrow. Now I need to rest. There is much squeezing to do tomorrow morning.

Sunday, August 5

Last weekend before school

Gym day. Someone couldn’t wake up. How nice. Haha. We cycled, we jogged we rowed. Productive day. I’m gaining weight though. Not good not good. hah!

Went for physio yesterday morning. Knee is back to normal now. Good as new. KT2000 result shows that both knees have equal strength. So another 3 months of strength training and I would be officially back. YAY. =)

Had dinner at Botak’s yesterday evening. Someone PSed us. TSK. Had cheng teng at Kopitiam. Was there at 9+…? left at 1130pm. We really have quite a bit to talk about huh. =)

Went down for buffet dinner at cousin’s place. Nice condo.

Left for church. Was busy re-copying my testimony draft. Was there early for half an hour. Couldn’t complete with the copying when the rehearsal start. Guess I wrote quite a bit. Surprise surprise. Haha. A 1400 word Chinese essay. I’m amazed by myself.

Rehearsal went well. Got all the props and stuff noted down. Shall think of ways to improve the setting and deco. Hmmmm. Long time since I’ve been involved in a skit. Thank goodness I’m in charge of the logistics; not the acting. Haha.

Having tuition in 9hours time. Shall head to bed soon.

--

Hey you! Thanks for the prayer! Haha. So honoured to be one of the twenty people you’re praying for. Hehe. Coffee soon ya? =)

--

James Patterson is good. But you’re seriously reading too fast. Or maybe it’s just me being jealous.

I’m getting ‘the quickie’ on Monday. =)

--

Lover of my soul, You are all that I need.

Wednesday, August 1

August first

Okays. So they’ve dropped the charges. Haha. yes yes. Maybe I should do what Neo said. Sue them for everything that I can possibly sue them for, get a million dollars out of it, and quit school. Sounds like a plan. Hah!

Went for a second session of therapy for my back. The pain’s back. Bones are back in place, but the muscles are contracted for no good reason. URGH. All the crappy stuff are happening all at once. Hope they all go away before school starts.

Had diarrhea yesterday. Really bad diarrhea. My arse hurts. Took pills to stop the guzzling. And guess what? I’ve got constipation today. Sucks. SUCK BIG TIME! urrrrrgh.

Saw the optician today. New specs on the way! woots!

Let tomorrow be a better day. Let me go to the gym and work out my legs. And let the shit flow normally. Pardon my coarse language. =)

--

A twenty-something more hours to your birthday! Been reading your blog. Sounds like a really hectic schedule you’ve been trying to keep up with. Do try and enjoy your birthday celebrations alright? All is well. Don’t worry too much about tomorrows alright? 船到桥头自然直。

希望这生日会为你带无穷的快乐与幸福!

--

Hey you in the office! Hope your ‘DAY 2’ went well. Nothing major screwed up right? well, day 3’s on the way. You hang in there alright? =)

And hey, you should seriously consider my proposal: MC on 10th August. It’s worthwhile. Trust me. Ha!

--

Curry noodles was good. But I suspect it’s the thing that gave me diarrhea. Haha. No worries though, still lydd. Haha!

Botak this Friday. Don’t forget.

Hoon, Alv joining?

--

Goodness. You’re already onto your… what? 15, 16th book? That’s madness. All in a span on 2 weeks. Hey, you really should slow down a notch you know. JP doesn’t write THAT fast. Haha. =)

Oh man. More baking. You’re making me drool. URGH.

--

Haven’t I told you? Yawning is my way of showing my desire to keep awake. So let me yawn. Lest you want me to fall asleep.

--

Horlicks is good. I just bought a bottle of Horlicks powder. Hehe. YUmmmmm!

--

Geography done. You owe me a lot a lot. HAHA!

--

Thank you Lord, for blessing me with everything I have today. Amen.

not-so-good things happening

Not good! not good at all. Two weeks back I was down with all the vomiting and stuff. Then was all weak and felt yucky the whole of last week.

Got a letter last Friday saying that I’m getting charged for AWOL. What the heck! I didn’t receive the blasted notification and I even called TWICE to confirm if I’m required to attend the event. Now I’m getting charged. Craps.

Investigations are along the way though. They better drop the whole thing and don’t ask me down on Tuesday. My fingers are aching to send letters to people now. And saying people I mean IMPORTANT people. Enraging!

And now, I’m having this bugging back problem. Went to see a doc. 4th and 5th segments are misaligned. They’ve chosen to relax and ‘stand on one leg’, leaning to the right, resting on the nerves, causing quite a bit of pain. Once again, I’m gonna have a painkiller buffet.

--

Anyways, it’s a happy day for Cousin Teng. Haha. Wedding day! =)

--

Played foosball with Dad at Uncle’s. He’s pretty good. Haha. Still not my match. He owes me 60cents. 10cents for each ball. Haha!

Eric’s good at it too. Long shots... Hmmmm… Reminds me of me. HAH!

--

Lunch at MOS. Took quite a while to get the birthday card for Phyllis. I’m glad that you liked it. =) Hope you like the messages in the card too! Okay HWEE-LIS? =)

Caught Simpsons. It’s really funny. REALLY funny. Homer’s a total loser. Spider-pig was hilarious. And Maggie was cute. And Lisa finally found her love. Saw Bart’s weenie whilst he was skating. And Marge kept things in her hair. Amazing family. HAHA!

Yet somehow I think those we don’t really watch Simpsons wouldn’t really very much like the show. Yeaps.

Went dinnering at Kopitiam. We kinda overslept huh? =p thanks for the chocolate swirly thingy at Spinelli. Lovely.

--

Let’s hope things get better. Charges dropped, my bones aligned, and my knees moving.

Have a great week people! And for those who’re beaching under the hot summer sun, hope you had a wonderful time. Cause it’s been raining rabbits and hamsters these few days over here.

Take care!

Ill

Have been wanting to blog. But couldn’t find the time to. Been quite ill and busy with certain stuff.

And hey! There’s a good side to being ill. The weighing balance says a nifty 74 now. Haha! A couple down from what it initially was. =) trying to look at things from the bright side here.

So out we went on Saturday. Kinda broke after the whole day, but I guess it was all worth it huh? Have to lay low for a couple of weeks now.

Spent the night at Wende’s playing MJ. Was supposed to win like 20odd bucks. But woo-hah! Kena ‘bao’ but my nice cousin-in-law. Owells. Ended up with an additional 1 dollar in my wallet. Not that bad actually. Set out not to lose and not to win. I guess a surplus of one dollar ain’t far from my target. Haha.

Slept Sunday morning away and went for Bible discussions in the afternoon. It was good. I think we should have it every week. Pity that we can’t. Owells. But all is good… there are greater plans. =) and service was great, and especially meaningful this time round as it was Pastor Chen’s last sermon at our church. New pastor, Pastor Huang would be coming in the week after. Couldn’t stay on much longer after service for the farewell gathering. Everyone was all so happy and sad… happy that Pastor Chen’s moving on, carrying out the plans for him; sad that he would be leaving us. Some of the older aunties (I heard) actually cried… not to forget the people from Yishun 10 joined us too. So the church was filled with people this time round and everyone were there seeing Pastor Chen off. Quite an emotional sendoff. But in his words, the leader of the church would never ever be a pastor, reverend or bishop. It would always be Jesus. And yes he would always be the leader of all. So we shall not be saddened. Instead, we rejoice for there are greater plans for everyone. =)

Had dinner at home that night and caught Transporter 2 on HBO. Another action movie where the hero NEVER dies. He gets beaten, he gets shot, he gets drowned or burnt or poisoned or what not. He just NEVER dies. Cool movie though. Haha. Such a sucker for action movies.

Got haircut yesterday morning. I look like a ‘boy-boy’. Think I should stick to my old hair-dresser.

Spent the afternoon playing Othello. One round each. Draw. =) NO I didn’t let you win. You won me fair and square. It was a good match. Beaten hands down. We shall have another round next time.

Tuition with Carol in the evening. LOCI! Have not done it since…. Hmmm. MY o-levels. Good thing that I can still do it. Pretty amazed by myself that I could sit through the 2hours solving loci questions.

And so today off I went to the gym. Met up at the towers and another MJ round. Haha. didn’t know that there was no cap to how many ‘doubles’ you could win with. I shall be more ambitious next time round. Haha. =)

Dinner was good tonight. Got to settle my cravings for beef and Hoe. =)

What awaits me tomorrow? Sighs. School’s starting in 2 weeks time. I’m so not ready for tutorials and assignments.

The mugging mood is coming soon. Feeling it.

--

Yes yes! His books are good ain’t it? You should have finished the 4th one by now. You were left with 50 pages from what I last know. =)

I shall go dig the archives of the national library for the older books. The letter, the diary, kiss the girls, along came a spider, cradle and all…. Haha. We shall see.

--

You had more chips left than me today! Haha. You’re getting better at it huh? Now it’s time to start to play a little faster. And soon enough, I’ll be inviting you over for showdowns. Haha.

--

Someone fell asleep on the bus today. Yes! It’s NOOB. Haha. You better not tell anyone. It’s really hilarious. =)

--

Do I owe anyone coffee? Haha. I think you should claim it before things start to get busy.

Before it's too late

Before it’s too late – Goo Goo Dolls

I wandered through fiction to look for the truth
Buried beneath all the lies
And I stood at a distance
To feel who you are
Hiding myself in your eyes

And hold on before it’s too late
Until we leave this behind
Don’t fall just be who you are
It’s all that we need in our lives

And the risk that might break you
Is the one that would save
A life you don’t live is still lost
So stand on the edge with me
Hold back your fear and see
Nothing is real ‘til it’s gone

Hold on before it’s too late
Until we leave this behind
Don’t fall just be who you are
It’s all that we need in our lives

So live like you mean it
Love ‘til you feel it
It’s all that we need in our lives
So stand on the edge with me
Hold back your fear and see
Nothing is real ‘til it’s gone

Hold on before it’s too late
Until we leave this behind
Don’t fall just be who you are
It’s all that we need in our lives

Hold on before it’s too late
Until we leave this behind
Don’t fall just be who you are
It’s all that we need in our lives

It’s all that we need in our lives
It’s all that I need in my life.

hold me now

First was diarrhea, then came the fever, next were the bodyaches. And finally the vomit. Felt like crap yesterday.

Much better now. Slept three quarters of the day away. Must have been the Anarex. Muscle relaxant right Jee? Haha. Thanks for the info. =)

There’s a pasar malam here in Bishan again. All the junk food and durian calling me out. Oh no…

And oh! I didn’t know I can actually feel the screw in my knee until Dr Chin showed me yesterday. Interesting… Anyone wants to try touching? Hehe. My dad found it cool. My mum freaked out. My brother thinks I’m psychotic.

Six feet from the edge(One last breath) – Creed

Please come now I think I'm falling
I'm holding to all I think is safe
It seems I found the road to nowhere
And I'm trying to escape
I yelled back when I heard thunder
But I'm down to one last breath
And with it let me say
Let me say
Hold me now
I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking
That maybe six feet
Ain't so far down
I'm looking down now that it's over
Reflecting on all of my mistakes
I thought I found the road to somewhere
Somewhere in His grace
I cried out heaven save me
But I'm down to one last breath
And with it let me say
Let me say
Hold me now
I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking
That maybe six feet
Ain't so far down
Sad eyes follow me
But I still believe there's something left for me
So please come stay with me
'Cause I still believe there's something left for you and me
For you and me
For you and me
Hold me now
I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking

Weak-end

Friday the thirteen. A little something good, a little something bad, a little bit of everything else. Thanks for your concern. All of you. You guys have been great to me. *hugs*

--

Thanks for the wallet. I like the dragon. Thanks for the seals. But I don’t really like the idea of being called 傅春贤. 傅俊贤still sounds much better. Haha. Thanks.

Thanks for the tower dude. And for the chocolate too. Should have told me not to stuff it all in at one go. That’s good stuff anyways. And yeah, thanks for the condom all the way from France. Thought I still have no idea why you got it. OR PERHAPS it’s a leftover? OOPS. Hahaha.

--

Dinner on Friday was good. Food was good. Nice place. Cosy too.

My dear friends almost died on Saturday morning. Please watch the roads before you cross them. PLEASE.

--

The dress looked good. Too bad you didn’t like it. Such a waste.

--

Hope you’re feeling better after eating your Subway and cookies and seeing flat-backsided women. =) MJ and tanning soon alright? OH MANNNNNNNN.

--

I so wanna go for missions trip next year (if there’s one). The team which went this year learnt so much. It was a Thailand trip. They learnt so much and had so much fun! And the kids were simply adorable.

3 year old kids there could lead prayers and memorise verses in PERFECT Chinese!!! Impressive huh? THREE year olds. How many of us could actually hold a proper Chinese conversation nowadays?

And that picture of all the kids… all 40+ of them standing, eyes closed, palm to palm, praying together. Picture perfect. =)

--

I’m getting really tired these days.

Please, let me walk in your light. Let me be victorious at the end of this journey.

--

Just a random thought:
Women should marry men who are afraid of them.
Sometimes it makes things easier.

HAHA.

Thursday, July 12

Bit and pieces today

Oh yeah. 47 sit ups in one minute. Hah! Think I’ve not lost it. Not YET at least.

--

Finally! Meeting for Botak next Friday. FINALLY.

--

Met Grace. She ran away. What the heck for? Seriously weird.

--

You really looked like the shop assistants in every shop today. Haha. Seriously. =)

--

Got a Crumpler for Timothy. The exact I wanted for myself. Haha! The joy of giving!

--

Happy jogging! Hope you’re clocking more than a mile today.

--

Please get well soon you. Take care of yourself up there.

--

Friday Friday Friday. Guess what? It’s the 13th this Friday. What a coincidence.

--

Wondering what’s going on in your life.

Wondering what’s going on in mine.

--

I need my peanut butter + Nutella sandwich now.

Sunday, July 8

We’re all late for gym today. Oops. Guess it must be the weather huh? =)

So we spent our time cycling and lifting; and not spending money for the air con, and NOT perspiring. You know you know.

Lunched at S11. Funny thing about ‘look up at the sky and take deep breaths’. I don’t see why is that funny, but I guess laughter is just contagious. And about the dust catching ability of big eyes, PE I thought you laughed a mighty bit too loud. Ooops!

And so Wednesday it shall be. Get Hoon along if she can make it? Yeaps.

PE! Please get it done. You go talk to your supervisor alright?

--

Nua-ed the afternoon away. Watched the 300pound beauty. English subtitles when cuckoo. Switched to Chinese, which I felt was probably scripted by some cheap-skate dubbing company. Wrong characters everywhere. Tsk. As funny as the show can be, it’s got really wrong meaning/messages. Disappointing.

Dinnered at MOS. MOS cheese is still the best.

I love beef. Wooots.

--

Keep the PJs on. J

Trust me. I’m going to try VERY hard tonight. But chances are… owells. You know. *grins*

--

And so this is as much as I can do.

We all know what we want. Don’t we? It’s the part where we stretch out and grab it that’s difficult.

--

Tell me. Are you reaching for it? Or are you turning away?

Saturday, July 7

i realise that this is a pretty long post

Wow. It’s been a really interesting 2 days I must say.

So it started off with me waking up on Thursday morning, getting all set and prepared to submit my wonderfully crafted time-table for next semester. Linked up with Joel and decided that we would be doing the set B of modules this coming sem, as it is supposedly easier. So when the clock hit 1330hours, I clicked the ‘submit’ button to send up my timetable. And WALA. There were no spaces left. I was pretty sure that I clicked it right at the dot. I guess there were a few hundred people who apparently were micro-seconds faster than I was. Or perhaps my signal has to travel all the way from Bishan at Jurong, which effectively was a longer distance.

And so we waited. The slots/vacancies for EVERY SINGLE time slot went straight to zero in a matter of seconds. And right after these few seconds, all hell broke loose. There were still a few hundred more students who have not applied for their core modules, and the vacancies had already depleted! And so, what happens next? EVERYONE starts calling the office. I presume they got SO busy and freaked out that they never picked up the phone after 5 minutes.

News kinda spread after a while, telling students to wait for about 5-10 minutes, when more vacancies would be released. And indeed, vacancies for various time slots WERE released. Just that, when the number changed from zero to ten on my screen, it takes only half of a second for it to jump back right to zero again.

Feeling totally disgusted, Joel gave up and suggested we take the set A modules. Having not much choice, we planned for set A mods and submitted it. NO ONE wanted to take the set A mods. Sighs. I guess the rumours WERE true. Set A mods are killers.

So what am I studying for my core mods next sem? Gear up. It’s gross. Totally.

APPLIED chemistry. Notice the word ‘APPLIED’ in front? Yeah. Somehow it feels like annihilate.
Mathematics 3. Haha. My ‘fav’ subject. Got a B for math1. Got a B- for math2. So if this trend continues, I’m should be getting a C+. Now that sucks.
Thermodynamics. Right. Having one topic of thermo d in physics was already a killer. And now we’re having an entire module of it. Wooo-hoooooo!
Electronic and magnetic properties of materials. WTH?
Material structure and mechanical behaviour. *&@*#$&_@@#$*__)($)(%$)#&?

Owells. OWELLS. What can we do?

Oh that’s not it. Best part has yet to come. 15minutes after submitting this, the slots for SET B were ALL FREED UP. How nice.

Maybe this’s God’s will. Yeah. =) will pull through. Somehow. I hope.

Okay. So was busy doing all the planning and phone calling. Swallowed my rice in like 3 minutes. Rushed out for tuition with Jenni. It was fun like I said. Chinese IS SO HARD nowadays. It’s really insane. One passage for one question. It’s like higher mother tongue lah.. tsk tsk. Well, good news is, she’s decided to permanently employ me. Haha. =)

And was pleasantly surprised. Have got a special delivery: PATRICK. Thanks thanks. It’s really nice. But erms. Not exactly the best of time lah. Rush hour you know? People were staring. And many kids wanted to play with it. Quite a bit of unnecessary attention. But owells. Haha. THANKS!

Off to tuition with Carol. Couldn’t really stay for the 2 whole hours. Guess the flu bug is really getting into me. Had to leave half an hour early. Went to J8 and got the movie tickets for tonight.

Slept late and woke early for physio. Dang. I TRIED to be early. But I was late again. This time, it ain’t my fault. The shuttle left without me. The signboard said it would be there at 820am. I was there at 819am. But it was nowhere to be seen. DANG. Had to wait till 840 for the next one. Appointment was at 830am. Craps.

But owells, being a really nice physio, Wendy attended to me even though I was late. Oops! Haha. Did the normal stretching and balancing. And had another strength test. FINALLY! something I’ve been wanting to hear for a VERY long time. I was improving faster than expected, all thanks to the gyming sessions I’ve been having (SEE! Saturday mornings ARE important) all these while, and I CAN START JOGGING. You READ ME? I CAN JOG. I’m 2 months into my post-op and I’m already approved to jog. Haha. I was supposedly scheduled to do it only AFTER 3months. At this rate…. I hope I can hit the courts sonner than I think. YEAH. PRAISE THE LORD!!! =)

Went down town the check the Crumpler shoulder cushion. They didn’t have the colour you wanted. I’m so sorry. Will try checking it online yeah? Will try my best. But no promises as yet. =)

Met my DEAR cousin Enjelyn in town. Saw her yawning UNGLAM-LY at the road junction while I was on the bus. Decided to give her a message. And so we decided to do a little catching up. Had a good talk while walking around. Had toasts too. HEY! I didn’t slouch alrights? Even if I did, ain’t got nothing to do with my posture. You know what caused the it right? hahah. DO keep it to yourself. ;)

Went down to J8 after that and did some work with Ling and Phyllis. I still can’t get that ratio question out of my head. WHY CAN’T I GET THE ANSWER?!? Urgh. Shall try it again next time. If I remember it that is. Had dinner at TPY and rushed back home to deliver dinner for mum and Eric.

And wow. Caught Die Hard 4.0 with Eric and dad. All men outing. I think it’s cool. But I still like Transformers. I’m saving up my money for the Transformers DVD. Haha. =) but hey, BRUCE WILLIS still rock! He makes all hairy man feel proud. *grins*

And so it’s one thirty now. Just back from supper with dad and Eric. Shall go take a shower and hit the sack. Have a great great great weekend my dear friends. May God bless you with a peaceful and happy Saturday and Sunday. =)

Monday, July 2

Saturday, June 30

day 2

Day two was a total waste of time. There were some sort of system problems, and we were not sent the notification for the 2 week stay. So the eleven of us ‘lobo-ed’ for the whole day, fought the Z monster during the lectures, and made fun of the people who were giving the lessons. It was mean, but I guess we really had nothing better to do. Those people in front were better known to us as ‘interesting characters’ and ‘poor chaps’. So that makes IC and PC. If you get what I mean.

Can’t really remember much of the boo-boos, but ‘jumping jacks’ pretty much replaced ‘training sheds’, and the very outstanding ‘… you cannot, non-stop ventilating…’. So are you to ventilate or stop ventilating??

Gave mummy the Body Shop leg-care set. Foot scrub, foot moisturizer, file, massager and relaxing spray. Woooots! She seemed really happy. And so was I. Shall find a day and scrub her legs. =)

Went to the gym on thurs morn. Getting my leg strength back. Goodie. 60pounds on the left. Met up with Jee for lunch… it’s been a while. Your phone is so cool la. =) and I think your job is cool too. I was pretty amazed at how you rattled of the names of the medicines that you’ve been handling with. Very impressive! See you again alright? Do take care and stay strong! Take care of those knees of yours. Don’t bust it up like me. Haha. Swimming is a good alternative. Just ignore those lane cuttings kids. And hey, 150bucks should get you more storage space than 80GB. Search on!

Took a cab down to T-towers and kinda lazed around before headed down for the sun. We were kinda ‘oh my gosh’ when we saw him… you know. Wondering what happened. Anyways, I still think you should talk to him. Yups. Like what I told you the other time? You get what I mean. =)

ChocM, sorry that you ended up dinnering alone. My bad. But I guess MOS’s MOS burger did the trick eh? It’s good. Did I tell you it was a good of friend who introduced it to me? Haha. I never ever touched it before that. It’s yummy eh? =)

Met up with Ber for dinner. Thanks for everything.

Had tuition at Carol’s today. Went though the 04 O-levels papers. Can’t deny that it’s kinda tough. But I guess it’s manageable if the concepts were grasped. I still stand my ground and strongly believe that you CANNOT MEMORISE math and vomit the solutions to the questions. Perhaps similar problems have similar ways of solving. But it’s so versatile and unpredictable… a small twitch in the problem gives rise to a totally different question. So… try not memorizing solutions but rather understanding the math.

Went for movies in the afternoon. TRANSFORMERS. It’s officially the best movie I’ve watched in the past years since Minority Report, LOTRs and Gladiator. Right up there on the top of the charts. Caught the digital version at Cathay. I’m all praises for it. =)

I’m sorry about what happened back home. I guess, just try to live and let live? Like we all know that they don’t really understand what you’re going through. So, just bear with it? everything would all be over in a few months time. Work hard now. Revelations would come soon enough. Hang in there alright?

And PE, please take care of yourself alright? You’re scaring the nuts out of me. See a doc if it doesn’t go away by Sunday.

--

…Only let them know the bare minimum…

…We’re all selfish. We do our best to protect ourselves first…

… What would Jesus do? …

--

What beholds in the future is not for us to see.

It’s been an amazing journey... but is it the end? We shall see.

Tuesday, June 26

day 1

Dang. Got shot by my former SI. Thanks ah Jo. Shoot until I’m like so dead. We didn’t miss the first shot on purpose alright? We’re zai. You have to agree. We’re probably your bestest best trainees and fellow instructor. Hahaha.

--

Woke early and got ready. Made peanut butter/nutella sandwich for breakfast. Put on the greens once again. It’s been a while. Felt weird to be putting on the boots once again. Met my SCB, Neo (so says Markus) at AMK and headed down to Sembawang Road for our refresher.

Surrendered our phones and reported to the mosquito infected place. Had a bout of briefing and started off with IV. How nice. Lecture was given by someone whom I totally have no recollection of, until he ‘introed’ me to the entire cohort. Should have saw my ‘huh… do I know you’ face. Turned out that he was an ex-trainee. Bad memory of mine.

Went off the prime our Hartmann. Was the first pair to finish up the IV on dummy and LIVE. Both missed the first shot and got second one. Kinda disappointed. But perhaps we’ve been rusty. And I have to put some blame on the supervising instructor. Ooops. He insisted on me shooting at a site which I thought wasn’t exactly the best. ‘you have poor technique’ he said. Urgh. SCB and I were shaking our heads. Ignorant brat.

Went up for lunch at the same old stall. They’re still as… erms. Get-on-your-nerves kinda people. Had a CPR refresher in the afternoon and everything else went smoothly thereafter. Met 2 more faces, whom obviously knew me, but I had no idea who they were. Guess I was pretty popular back then. Hah!

Wasted a lot of time sorting things out towards the end of the day. Another classic example of ‘rush to wait, wait to rush’.

One more round in 7 hours time.

Just hope that we don’t have to stay for 2 weeks. We’re totally not prepared for it.

--

Wow. That phone call was half an hour long. I was rather amazed.

And I really thought I camouflaged myself rather decently. People were oblivious to me as they walked pass. Cool huh. =)

--

Gym or Sentosa?

it's monday again!

Just before I forget: some people can’t pick rostis’ up with their fork. The potato food flips and tumbles back to the plate with a ‘plop’. And that’s the start of the laughters.

--

It’s a bluey Monday. Time just whip-panned by. Went to the gym, loaded 50lbs on the quadriceps extension. That’s good improvement. Still quite a distance off the right quads, but guess just have to be patient.

Met up with Jianhong and headed down to Beach road. Talked about NS and reservist on the way there. It’s actually kinda cool to have a cousin who’s also a medic; even though he’s the slacker kind of medic. Oops!

Went to the immigration building and got my biometric passport done. 70bucks to get it done. Apparently it’s not free. Sighs. Filled up the form and headed down to the hawker centre. Finally had the beef noodles that I’ve been yearning for months and also the tang yuan. Goodness. So good. Went up to the army market and got a couple of stuff. 2 pairs of slippers and one stud for myself, and 1 pair of slippers and 3-quads for him. How interesting.

Took a bus to Carol’s and was early for half an hour. Went through the macromolecules for chemistry and spent the rest of the time with math. Was pleasantly surprised that she did all the questions in the TYS for algebra. Good thing that she’s been doing her own revision. Good for her. =)

Though there’s one thing that she did that kinda threw me off my chair. Can’t really remember what lead to this, but starkly, she wrote this one her paper:

5 X 0 = 5

Now that was like… “WHAT?????!!!!!!” it made me wonder what on earth have I been teaching her. Took her 5 seconds to realize the major boo-boo. Owells.

Came back home and packed ‘beef hor fun’ for dinner. Yum. Managed to talk to a few people online. And why the hype on Skype, I’ve got no idea. Seriously. I just thought the whole thing was really cool. And perhaps I foresee myself using it quite a bit after school starts. Work discussions and all. I wonder if that thing does call conferencing. Hmmm…..

Wearing green tomorrow. Just tried my uniform earlier in the day. The sleeves don’t fit anymore. My arms have grown. Darn. I think a tourniquet is not required to get my veins popping tomorrow. I’ve got a tourniquet on for each arm already.

TSK.

To the one I’m having lunch with: Keep on praying alright? God answers prayers. You know that. Things will turn your way soon. Have faith my dear friend. Have faith.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” – John 15:5

“Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will fine rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” – Matthew 11:29-30

See you!

--

It’s good to be sharing, talking. But what lies ahead is unforeseeable. Let’s wait and see. Only time can tell. No one knows what or how, only God.

We’re very stupid people. You think?

--

And to the one with ‘bad fashion sense’. I thought you were great. Really. And you know it too. No?

“My dear brothers, take not of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.” - James 1:19

Remember alright? As will I.
I’ve got twenty cents in today. How much was yours?

--

Should be sleeping now. Can’t wait for the IV. Needle needle poke poke poke! Yaaay!

Sunday, June 24

3days

Hello! Wow. It has been quite a while. Oh dear. Not good at keeping this up at all.

For one, Miss Yeo should already be at the states now. It’s a good thing that you have got wireless there. Guess there’s no need for your LAN cable now. Well, that’s good news huh? Save yourself from the possibility of blowing the place up. Haha. =) Enjoy yourself! Do update us as and when you can alright? Take care!

Friday was for tuition, and the tanning that didn’t happen. About the thing whole getting ‘upset’ issue at Subway and stuff… put it all behind ya? We’re always learning. Right? =) and yes, I’ve lost twice. Haha. I shall have my revenge soon enough. Just you wait.

Met up PE and Ber for dinner. Cai Fan again at Republic. Walked around, looking at girly stuff. And YAAY. Hoon called. Hahah. =) Was conferencing right in the middle of Metro. How nice. And thanks huh. So much for glittery and gay-looking clothes there.

Saturday morning went gyming again. Was late. Ooops. One was feeling sleepy, other was in pain. Kinda scary. But you’re okay now. Thank goodness.

Met up with Jo, Huang, HS, Faiz and MARKUS at Holland V. We have finally met up after such a long time. Mark’s still the same… itchy neck. Jo looked good. Like your haircut. Huang’s still as generous (thanks for taking the tab). Faiz’s attached to a hot bikini babe. And HS’s still kinda lost at times. Oops! =) It was good talking over beer, lychee martini and green tea. Tiger, Heneiken, Kilkenny and Erdinger. Cool. And nothing’s sweeter than one-for-one. Haha.

Church in the morning today. A really adorable baby sat in front of me. Really adorable. Sat at beans and read the papers. Finished up 3rd degree. And so I’ve completed his entire series of the Women’s Murder Club. All 6 of them within 4weeks. Think I’m reading too fast. Craps. Met the girls for lunch and hanged out a bit before heading to town.

Dinner was good. Too bad we’re all kinda groggy. But owells. It was good nonetheless. =)

I’m back on Skype! Yaay.

A new week ahead. New events beckons.

--

To you:

No one can stop you from achieving what you want, except yourself. Perhaps you do not see what I see in
you. But certainly, you’ve got what it takes to be right there at the top. Have faith. Go for it.

Wednesday, June 20

tanned.

Good day! Happy day! Woke up to finish the slices of pizza in the box. Heated up a couple for grandma. Cool huh? My grandma likes PIZZA. HIP LEH!

Packed up some stuff and went tanning at T-towers! Thank for your hospitality once again! I think some of my friends want to go tanning too. hahaha. Interesting. Sun was good today. Left with 4 chapters to go for 2nd Chance. Was reading it whilst perspiring profusely. This book is SO good. Thank God for Patterson. Haha! Lapped a few freestyles before hitting the showers. Yeah. And so we have darker backs than fronts. HOW? And so you’ve found the weak spots. But don’t forget that you’ve got more. =)

Had dinner at Kim San Leng with YK, Ling and Ber. It was a ‘ducky’ dinner. Significant things happening would be the uncle with the purple hair, me trying to catch my tao kua with my thighs, and Hoon breaking my heart into small pieces all the way from China. Thanks ah.

Thank you, Ling, for the Disney gifts! Haha. Good choice of gifts for the special two. =) well done! Have fun at States! Be careful of the LAN cable. Don’t plug it into places you’re not supposed to… things REALLY might just explode. Haha. You know what I mean. =)

Had coffee at beans. Got kinda put off by the joint again. The bean card could NOT be used as the server was down, and they showed no effort in trying to rebating customers who actually owns the card. Maybe I’m being too fussy and have got a problem with the manager. But yeah. Ooops!

Hot chocolate, chocolate chip walnut cookie and mudpie. Ooomph! Yummy.

We shall meet again this Friday. Low budget again. I think we should just go on low budget for ever. Agree? At the end of the day, we realize that it’s the people that counts… food’s secondary. And so S11 is good. They serve better lemon tea too. =)

Till then!

--

Damn it. Too bad I missed the sushi today. Heard it was good. But glad that you guys had fun. Thanks again. =)

--

Let’s do the Psalms together.
That’s a start.

--

‘stop stepping in and out of people’s life’
Thank you for caring. Really appreciate it. =) makes me feel so blessed to have you around. LYDD!

swelling up

This is not good. I’ve got so much calories packing in over the past 48hours and the guilt is swelling. Sheesh.

Taiwan sausages, laksa, MOS cheeseburger, fries, milk tea, sugar cane juice, peanut butter sandwich, Carlsberg, Corona, and pizza.

OH MY GOODNESS. Darn it man… anyone wants to go gymming?

--

Had physio today. Was supposed to wake at 7 to catch the bus, ended up waking half an hour late. Rushed like a mad hound, packed and waited for the cab. Well, is it just me or, have we got lesser cabs around in Singapore? Amazing. 15mins flew by before I finally got a cab. The blue Hyundai. Kinda cool. Still having my doubts over Korean cars though. Anyways, I think a few of you out there have got bad experiences with waiting for cab right??? You know who you are. Tsk tsk.

Was late for half an hour. Felt bad. 6weeks have passed and I’m due for all the tests. Right knee has a shift of 5cm, left knee 7cm. Not that bad! =) Feels good to be screwed. Hahaha.

Apart from that, quads are doing fine. So is the hamstrings. Left leg’s having a deficit of about 30% compared to the right. Which is good too! Normal range’s from 30-40%. Good to be at the lower bung.

Had a long session. Left only at 11. Went straight to the gym. Was really crazy, considering the fact that I’m running on 3.5hours of sleep. Anyhows, went cycling and did some lifts. Saw Collin and spoke for a brief moment before hitting the showers and lunch.

Came back home and we went through some physics and chemistry. Tried really hard not to fall asleep. Hope you learn something today. Yups. =)

And here I am, sitting on my bed, blogging, with my lime-kissed Corona. Sun-tanning tomorrow! Wooooooooots! Thanks Celest! Haha.

Ms Yeo, are we still meeting for dinner tomorrow?

--

At the hawker centre, in the middle of the roads, at the corridors, at the staircases and where else? We’re mad.

--

The window of opportunity has closed. I’ve done my best, and did what I could. You being oblivious has certainly not helped. Whatever it is, I’m not interested now. Apologies.

--

Meet-up this coming Saturday for the SMM people is on. Hooray.

Jo, let me know asap k? Thanks.

--

To all those out there who cannot drink, I seriously urge you to TRY not to drink AT ALL. Cause tendency is, you flush, get high, stutter nonsense, do crazy stuff, and basically being really funny. You get what I mean. =)

And oh, beer is better than magaritas. So is beer better than vodka.

Saturday, June 16

eternity

Shocked! Was reading the Chinese papers, 10 year old girl got gang-raped by 3 boys of the same age in Hong Kong! What the HECK! These are KIDS have even barely hit puberty! What on earth is going on around us these days…

--

HO SHIT. 28 bucks. Monster, no more k? No more. We shall play for breakfast next time. I’m getting very broke-n.

And oh, a red crumpler for you? We shall see. =)

--

Madm Hoo! How’re you feeling? Don’t think it was dengue right? Anyways, coming Saturday. Free?

JO! You too! =) I’m getting all the SMM people. Got Neo and Faizal already. Trying to get Markus, Song, etc. Say for dinner and chill in the night. Good to go?

--

Supper these few days has indeed made me fat, filled with guilt, broke, and lack of sleep. But it was good. Really.

If only it never ends.

--

Over the radio, hummed along.
Sad yet beautiful (wouldn’t you agree more?)

Eternity

Close your eyes so you don't feel them
They don't need to see you cry
I can't promise I will heal you
But if you want to I will try
To sing this summer serenade
The past is done
We've been betrayed
It's true
Some might say the truth will out
But I believe without a doubt, in you
You were there for summer dreaming
And you gave me what I need
And I hope you find your freedom
For eternity...For eternity
Yesterday when we were walking
We talked about your ma and dad
What they did that made you happy
What they did that made you sad
We sat and watched the sun go down
Then picked a star before we lost the moon
Youth is wasted on the young
Before you know it's come and gone to soon
You were there for summer dreaming
And you gave me what I need
And I hope you find your freedom
For eternity...
For eternity
For eternity
To sing this summer serenade
The past is done
We've been betrayed
It's true
Youth is wasted on the young
Before you know it's come and gone to soon
You were there for summer dreaming
And you are a friend indeed
And I hope you find your freedom
For eternity
You were there for summer dreaming
And you are a friend indeed
And I know you'll find your freedom
Eventually
For eternity
For eternity… …

I’m more fun. I know you better.
Greatest story ever told.

Hoping that the peach margarita isn’t knocking you out.

--

Yes! Still think I’m gonna get married the last amongst us. Which means I’m getting ANGBAOS last. How? LIKE THAT HOW?

So Hoon, how do you think you’re going to break the news to us? =)

--

Reservist on the 25th. Gonna play with needles and tubes again. How cool!

Now where’s my uniform… hmmm. Anyone saw it? Ooooops!

Wednesday, June 13

montueswednesday

Yesterday.

Tuition at Carol’s, reading at the bus-stop, suntanning without the sun, photographs by the pool, sambal fish and fried wanton for dinner, trip to the 13th floor. And the monster that bites. EEEeeek!

--

Shaker fries are not that bad. Un-salted fries rocks.

Thanks for the 3rd Degree. Now the hunt for 2nd Chance is on.

--

Today,

Tuition at Benjamin’s, tuition with Yan at Beans, saw Jasper (asked me if I could tuition him. Got kinda shocked.) and also Ruowei (been bumping into her lately), time after that simply warped away. It seemed to have happened all so fast. Sighs.

So the deal’s on anyways. 30years old. ME 30years old. It’s my say.

Got a call from Yisiong and Huiying. Couldn’t meet them up. I don’t seem to have enough time to meet everyone. Dang.

--

Tomorrow,

Tuition with Eric I think, NBA in the morning, see if I can drop by Macs, gym in the afternoon, and see what comes.

--

My contacts are dry, irritating my eyes. My head’s heavy, giving me a bad headache. Sometimes, I just don’t understand why things happen the way they do.

It’s for the better.

Right?

--

Pry it open and put the pieces back.
Unworthy me.

I’m sorry.
-
Those three words in my ears.
-
Was good to be there again.
-
Let it be the greatest story ever told.
-
I’m sorry.

I’m incoherent right now. My brains’ like a cotton candy machine. Everything’s swirled up. This feeling sucks.

--

Sorry cousin’s and aunt… I feel bad not turning up for the KTV. My apologies. Hope to see you guys soon.

--

TJ, everything good?

--

ChocM, sorry for the late msg. Woke you up.

--

I need sleep. Pillows over my head. Yeah. You are one step ahead indeed.

Saturday, June 9

where am i?

Had CA, Jon and Ber over last night for MJ. And YAAAAY I won. How nice. Free breakfast and entrance to the gym.

Went gym-ing with PE and Ber this morning. Many many people-s. No signs of yisiong or QZ. I wonder if they’re aching today. Especially Ber. Haha.

Lunch at KML coffee-shop. Maybe I should drop by your work place and have the yong tau fu. Cool?

Thanks for helping check out the question regarding the Banking Interest Rates. Appreciate it. Happy clubbing tonight! Hope you know what you want to get for your supervisor. =)

And so I didn’t go for the cousin’s gathering. I’m SO SO SORRY!! I didn’t mean to fly your aeroplanes lah…………… I feel very very bad. Really. Hope it was fun for you guys, and I’m praying that there would be another one coming up soon… My apologies!

--

We’re mad.
I’ve got no regrets.
So what’s next?

--

9th June. Remember. =)

Friday, June 8

mad

Thanks for helping me out with the stuff shifting. Hope it didn’t kill your nose. You can pack well. =) It was nice. The entire journey. Apart from the little detour to get the keys.

And yes we ARE crazy people. Are you crazy enough for more crazy things? I am. Thanks again.

5/5. That doesn’t make me a greedy person does it?

--

Well, it was SLIGHTY more than five minutes. But I hope you didn’t mind. As for the ‘impossible’ and ‘mysterious’, I think I like it that way. I like the way we can explain it. Don’t you? Later!

--

It’s 4.15am. I’m sticky, yucky, tired and sleep deprived. But I’m happy. I’m glad. And I’m smiling. Cause I’m mad, I’m crazy, I’m insane, and I’ve got my results back. Praise God. 3.92 now. 0.08 more to a 4.00.

Good nights/morning people. See you in a bit.

Wednesday, June 6

screwed up day.

So much for planning ahead… Had my activities for today laid out yesterday night, but nothing went according to plan. But still, somehow everything came out perfectly good and it was a really nice day.

Screwed up the physio appointment in the morning. Went down to Clinic K only to realize that my appointment was scheduled to be on Monday, which was 2 days back. That practically overturned what was planned for the day. Made another appointment with the physio (tmr) and headed to the bus stop. Had no plans in my head at that point of time, and choc.m couldn’t make it for dinner, decided to board whatever bus that comes first. And so it came, hopped on it, and I ended up at Orchard. What a surprise! Sat at Taka beans, hot some hot chocolate just read my book. I’m a couple of chapters away from the final page.

And what a pleasant surprise! PE came. Had lunch at Republic, and went down to Borders. Got myself a new book. Patterson’s again. He’s good. Really. Found his shelves all thanks to PE’s sharp eyes. Got a call from Ben’s mum whilst looking at some CDs. Gonna have 3tuitions with him next week. Wooooooooots.

Got a call from Jess while paying for the book, and we met for drinks/sorbet soon after. PE left for home to complete her assignments. Think your flu’s really killing you. Pop some vitamins will ya?

Took a train back to Bishan, and decided to hit the gym since I had my shoes on and had a towel in my bag. Saw Joshua at the machines and caught up a little. Invited me to play with him on Sunday evenings when I’m good to go. Can’t wait can’t wait! Went to the bicycles (whatever you call those) and started cycling. And FOO! Jee Keng was on the bike beside mine! How cool. Talked for a bit, before all the panting from pedaling came in. He’s training up for his enlistment next week. Don’t remember me training up for army at all. Went in blind, flabby and over-nourished. Came out even more blind, flabby and nourished. TSK.

Walked back home with Josh and stopped at the night market for some Ramly. Bought some and went to TPY to share the yummy food! And got to know someone bought some hot-pink stuff. TSK TSK TSK. =p

And I’m back home now, wondering why did I even try planning the day, when it apparently screwed-up totally, but yet it somehow turned out to be fine. Amazing. =)

i'm not EVEN a bit darker.. am i?

Morning calls! Yeah I know you didn’t cut the line. We shall put the blame on St*rhub alrights? =) Got out of bed at 10… had a really hard time getting out of it. Called Des to push the tuition back a little. Rushed over to get my hair cut and got lunch. Came back just on time for tuition. And so we did simultaneous equations today… elimination and substitution. Think s. eqns are getting kinda mundane… oops. But still managed to sit through the entire session, getting him to do the questions. Not that bad. BER! He knows his stuff lah… he just needs to do it. He just needs practice…so I think you’re paying me to sit beside him and do the questions with him. =)

Packed up some stuff after tuition and headed down to TPY for sun-tanning. Dropped by Popular and got 2 TYS for Benjamin. Thanks for the reminder! It totally slipped my mind. Haha. Thank you! Went straight to the pool and the sun was SCORCHING. Put my stuff down and started reading. Got into the water soon after, swam a couple of laps. Front-crawls and butterflies still worked. Didn’t bother trying breast-strokes. Was sure I couldn’t make it. And so we played a little of water, played with that ‘Jacuzzi’, looked at little kids (though I was really partially blind without glasses), and talked nonsense basically. Washed up and hang around for a while before heading down for dinner.

It was great. Though you got a little lost. Can’t blame you… it’s been a while. Had dinner at HK Café. Tea, mee sua and hor fun. Walked down the row of ‘balls’ and had drinks at Starbucks. Well, I’m glad that you had fun. And thank you too. I’m sorry for what’s going on at home, and thank you for listening too. It’s good to see you again. See you around. =) thanks for the bookmark, and insecty-looking crackers.

Have got physio tomorrow morning. Have to wake early. Damn early. And I’m still awake. Urgh.

--

Eh the one in China. I cannot believe that you’ve got nothing there to fix you flu except for Panadol Flu. Hope you’ve dropped by Watson’s. Please get well soon! Chat again online soon. =)

--

Hot hot hot! Let me show you off alrights? =)

Tuesday, June 5

june 05 - monday. blues.

YES. We’ve finally packed up our study room. Dad was nagging and nagging about Eric’s part of the room. Dragged his fat arse into the room and got him packing his stuff. Did some tidying up on my side and *MAGIC*! It looks so much better now. More room to walk, to do weights, to mug, to read, and for MJ. Coming Saturday night it shall be. =)

Brought him to the movies as a little reward/treat for doing his part. Caught Shrek 3. I shall not be a spoiler for PE now, but I think it is erms… Ya. Seems to me that the 3rd installments to all movies ain’t that great. To me at least. Or perhaps I’m asking for too much. Ooops.

Woke up late this morning (didn’t know we talked for so long), and woke up with a really swollen knee. It felt much warmer than the other knee. Had to ice it before heading to Carol’s for tuition. Brought lunch up for us, and did some work. Was trying hard not to fall asleep throughout. Had to walk around a couple of times to keep awake while she did her work. And guess what? It totally slipped my mind! The bible was still in my bag when I left her place. Darn. DARN. Have to wait for next week. Think I’m getting old. Age is catching up and memory powers are waning.

Brought a meal up and had to be quite as mouse. Didn’t get my cheese. TSK. Sat around and waited for time to pass. Resisted the urge to fall asleep. Went through some mags and looked at some photos. Kinda interesting. The whole thing was like a stealth infiltration mission. “don’t step on a crack!” kinda feeling. Took off at 4ish and headed up to T-towers. Mingled for a while and had to leave before I was too late.

Saw Jess on the way to the station. That’s your mum?? Didn’t look like her. Oops. Or was she someone else? Anyways, managed to get to City Hall on time. Ber’s cracking her head over which cufflinks to get for Boss. PE came a while after, and we met Ling and YK at Sakae. It was basically eat, talk, laugh, cam-whoring (well, maybe that’s just me), and realizing how lame YK can get. Glad that he decided to join in the fun and make a fool out of someone else. =) well, too bad you’re the birthday girl. And you’ve been MIA for so long. Haha. Thanks for the Crumpler that you’re gonna get Ber and I. haha. It’s ‘The Hoax’. Orange and yellow for Ber, Oatmeal and red for me. Thanks. =) I wonder how many plates of stuff did we have. PE did you take count?

Had some hot chocs with marshmallows after dinner and after getting the cufflinks. We sat, drank, talked, laugh, cam-whored and laugh again. All thanks to YK. Inflation, recession and depression. That’s true. =) And PE, no, I don’t wanna gym for 3 hours this coming Saturday. That’s crazy.

Got 2 unknown numbers calling me late into the night. It’s really funny. Two of you… calling me at about the same time. See you guys soon. =)

Back to painting tomorrow. Big project this time. Feeling ambitious. Or maybe I’ll just end up finishing my book again. Bah. Procrastination! Hate it.

--

I don’t know why you were laughing, and I guess somehow I wanted to know why. But since you don’t have an answer… well. Leave it as it is then. It’s just weird la. I’m sorry but it’s never occurred to me before, so perhaps I’m a little perplexed and jumbled by it. My apologies.

--

Please, the one on t-towers, please rest up and sleep. You really look like you’ve been ‘boxed’ in the eyes. So please sleep. And see a doc if you think you’ve got insomnia. Yups.

--

Spankie, owl-ing ain’t the healthiest of things to do around. But since it’s bo-bian, try and hit the sack early la. You’ll need it cause you’ll be ‘overstretched’ again tomorrow. =)

--

Wow. I’ve got a fan. Thanks thanks! Haha. Haven’t heard from you for sooooo long. Work hard for your dreams! Hope to see you where you wanna be. OH, if you do it well, it’s a big-buck earning career. Trust me.
