raindrops keep falling on my head..

rain and rain and rain
woke up early morning.. hoping to play basketball.. had been anticipating the entire night.. but, rained.. sigh.. ended up playing the guitar again.. think i really suck at it..

orange julius and comics w jenje
met up jenjera for lunch.. supposed to meet at 1pm.. she was late for half and hour.. haha.. well, guess she overslept.. =)

went to causeway point to buy her the comic she wants.. one's called 'absolute boyfriend' and the other's 'venus' something.. girly, english comics.. total 5 of them.. was relatively shocked to see that english comics have twice the price of chinese ones.. haha.. but, promised her i would get them.. so, bought her 5 in all.. could see she was really happy about it.. so, guess it worth it.. *grins*

initially couldn't find the orange julius place.. had to call hoon to check it out.. thanks hoon! =) it was jenje's treat this time round.. haha.. she had a chilli dog w 7up meal and i had a triple-cheese dog w orange pineapple smoothie meal.. she bought jennifer a triple cheese too.. was quite nice.. just that, the outlet there was so called, open-space.. and just next to a taxi stand.. all the noise and dust.. not very well located i can say..

few days back, as we were smsing.. jenje, being a kid, was like.. "its good to have a big bro like you.. u're no. 5 in my heart now!"

it was a pleasant surprise.. to hear that from her.. guess, all i want to do now is to help them in every way possible.. =)

1st service of the year
its the 1st day of the year, and it's a sunday.. went up to zhiyong's place before going to church.. it was really hot when i was walking there from the train station..

their place is really nice, and cosy.. a home where i felt God's presence.. talked to zhiyong about our new year stuff, and the Bible.. 1corinthians.. had to clear certain doubts with him.. realised that, 1corinthians 13: the way of love, was the verse that's most applicable to us in the 1corinthians..

so now, faith, hope and love abide, these 3, but the greatest of these is love.

he was telling me, that, if we were given one chance to teach a young mind, one of these, FAITH, HOPE and LOVE, he would teach them LOVE.. because, if a person knows how to love, he would have faith in the Lord, that He would do the best for the one/things the person loves.. and also, by knowing how to love, he would have hope, and pray the best for that he loves.. love, is strength.. especially love from God..

not to forget, be it love from our parents, friends, spouses, they are what we cherish, and strive on..

seeing his family so in love, so loved by God, makes me sigh unwittingly.. makes me think back on all the 'would haves' and 'should haves'.. guess, i can only pray and wait.. =)

went to the church with his family in a cab.. it was thunderstorming as we left.. was 5mins late for service.. sat on the right isle.. cleared my thoughts and listened to sermon hard.. and prayed really hard this time.. so many things to pray.. so much to say.. but, i know that God already knows what we want to pray before we even started praying.. hopefully i didn't miss out on anything! =p
