These questions have been bugging me.
Why did God let the serpent tempt Eve? Why did He allow Eve to eat the fruit when He knows that we will forever be sinned? Why didn’t He stop the devil, why didn’t He stop Eve?
And they made me think.
There are so many things in our lives that cannot be explained; things that bog our minds, things which happen without explanation. These things always remain in our heads like a prick in the finger. It’s not very hurtful, just irritating. No matter how much we dig, we just can’t seem to get it out.
How many of us spend time to actually seek the answers to questions we sometimes face in our lives? I think majority of us cannot be bothered. Why is that so? Are we too lazy? The answers are of no significance? Or are we afraid to know the truth?
They say human beings are the most curious; are we really THAT curious? Do we really want to know the answers? Do we always try to seek a scientific/ logical explanation to everything?
Do we shun away from facts that we take no favor of? Escape from the truth? Or are we afraid that we can’t handle reality? Or is it maybe we are afraid of changes and want things to remain the way it is now; and prefer to leave things as it is, and always remain in our comfort zone?
What a dilemma.
What do we exactly want? The truth? Or not? Can we move on without knowing what happened and what’s happening?
Or perhaps ignorance is a bliss they say, and that some questions are best left un-answered.
What is it? What do I want?
