Job

It’s 26th April! Ten more minutes to the 27th! Happy birthday Hoon! 2nd one to turn 21. Haha. Bet your grandma and aunties will be bugging you during the next CNY! Haha. kidding. Right. Best wishes to Hoon, may you realise all your dreams. God bless!

Sighs. Darn nose has been leaking like some broken tap. Irritating.

It’s been quite an exciting day in the sporting world. Arsenal are through to the Champions League Finals at Paris. And San Antonio Spurs pushed their match with Sacramento Kings into the extra time, by an equalizing 3pointer with 8secs left on the clock. And they won by 9 in extra period. Fantastic! How I wished I was there. Alamodome. San Antonio. Sheesh.

Can’t wait for tonight’s match to start. Oh, no. Tmr morning’s match. It’s at 2.30am. Darn tired now. But it’s a “can’t-miss” match. Think I need coffee. Need to keep awake. Dang. Barcelona and AC Milan. Fwah!

Am reading chapter Job. Read the beginning, and took a peek at the back. haha. Couldn’t wait to see what God gave Job at the end of his horrible trial. God allowed the devil to take away all of Job’s possessions; his cattle, his house, his family, everything that he loved. Yet Job constantly kept faith in the Lord.

One can draw so much inspiration from the chapter of Job in the Bible. Some might say that God overdid it. And I bet many of us would not be able to go through that kind of trials without cursing and grudging. Yet Job did it, by pure faith and love. It’s really amazing.

Oh and, God gave Job back all his possessions, and doubled them. He brought back Job’s family too. Praise Lord!
