Having an interview in 9 hours time and I’m still here. Ponders. Engineer? Teacher? Let God decide. Yeah.
1st things 1st. A HUGE “thank you” to Ding for being all so obsessed with my leg hair rather than my LEG. It’s rather comforting to know that there’re actually people out there who appreciate hairy people SO MUCH. =)
It’s been a long day. Went back to Pl Tekong. Jeremy’s turn to serve the nation. Saw him taking the oath, had lunch, and said good-bye. Aunt looked kinda upset. Guess that’s the normal reaction for all mummys. Uncle was just like dad. Haha. Holding back his emotions. Guess it runs in the family. Not for me at least. Bah!
Had a really good talk with uncle. Issues about our family that daddy and mummy didn’t tell me. Issues about my little cousin who’s taking his O levels this year. Wondering if I could be of any help. Issues about religions and life in general. Always enjoyed talking to him.
Saw some recruits bringing their girlfriends in (some had really BEAUTIFUL gfs. Makes me wonder if NS really cause relationships to falter?), saw some of them with really out-of-this-world kind of hair style, saw some of them looking utterly depresses, as though they’re attending boot camp.
Went Whitley for the Speech Day and award ceremony. Thought the march pass was kinda, hmm.. small. But the GB did impressed me with their marching. The best I would say out of all the contingents. Got a plague this time during the ceremony. Felt that the GOH’s speech was not really.. well.. suitable for the audience. He have a lovely “toy” though. A blardy red LOTUS. Argh. He’s THAT rich. And he’s got 2 other somewhere back in his garage.
Talked to Ms Chong after dinner. Got to know more about teaching as a career in Singapore. Time to put serious thoughts into this. Perhaps after the interview tomorrow.
Sentinel was good. Company was fun too. Can’t imagine someone having an affair with the 1st lady though. Eva Longoria… Fwah.
Pray that everything goes well tomorrow morning. No. It’s in another 9hours time. Should I wear a tie? Haha. Was thinking of wearing the one which the 4N2 kids got? Owells.
