在祷告会结束前，牧师邀请会众跪下为家里未信主的家人祷告。在当我要开始祷告之前，牧师说了这两句话：

“神爱你的家人，多过你爱你的家人；神要他们被救的心，总比我们的心还要高。”

“把你的顾虑都放在主身上。”

说完了，会众便开始祷告…而我却无法开口；因为眼泪不禁倘然地从我脸颊落下。但不是因为我伤心难过；而是一种无比安慰的感觉充满着我，一种有人知道我内心深处的感觉，在鼓励着我。可能是所谓的“圣灵充满”，或可能是自己的反思或感触的刺激；但在那一刻，我深知道：我不需开口，不需祷告，什么都不用作，神一切都已知道了，并会应允。所以那5分钟的祷告，我什么话也没说，什么也没祷告；我只安静地跪着，享受与主同在的片刻。

有时候，我们的所思所想，所有的问题、顾虑、疑惑、等，只要在祂面前安静仰望，什么都不用说，祂都会以祂的爱来拥抱我们。

This stupid online SEM test is a waste of time!...

1) Considering that we're from a reputable educational institution, the standard of the questions asked are simply @)#^%)^!)&@*)*&!#^%)!!! The English is so darn bad (a regular 'beng' would beat it hands down), the formatting is crap, and they didn't even bother reading through the whole thing before posting it up... WTH!?

2) I'm fine with a 85% passing grade, but not letting us know our results after each test is just FANTASTIC! So we just have to keep on taking it until we pass... WTH?!

3) Yeah. Some of the qns asked were NEVER discussed before. So much for 'Please read the online notes thoroughly before attempting the test'.

I have never taken a same test more than TWICE in my entire life (only ones I can recall now are my basic driving theory test, A lvl Calculus class test, and... that's about it!?!). Now I'm onto my 20+ for this.... Great!...

Results are out... and.... WTH?? My first ever C in NTU. And it's the least expected. Wondering what went wrong. My entire group got a C, though we thought we did fairly well for the project. Other peeps I asked got Cs as well. Fishy fishy... Maybe it's time for some transparancy.

But whatever it is, thank God for carrying me through the entire process. And yes, this time round, I did not miss a single worship session during the exams. Guess He really is beyond amazing. :) A- for all the core modules, 2 of which are 4credits... First time ever!

One of the league's top scorers, last season's MVP, charismatic leader of the Lakers team, record setting athlete, possible future hall of famer, and a definitely basketball idol of thousands in the world.

Yet, after watching him play in the playoff games against the Houston Rockets, I have my reservations.

One might say it's the heat of the playoffs, the last hurdle to the championship ring, and it's thus understandably more challenging and testy. Whatever circumstance it is, taunting of opponents, waving of fingers in their face and telling them, "You can't mark me" just ain't right. Also, blatantly denying the elbowing of your opponent in the neck when video replays clearly puts your head under the guillotine is not the kind professionalism that one would expect from him.

Despite all his achievements and basketball greatness, his lack of humility and sportsmanship in those games just gives me another reason to detest the team of gold and purple. Sad thing that Spurs are out of contention. Absence of Manu was a bad hit.

So well, banking on Denver now. =P

YES! Exams are over! Been too busy chilling and packing (and UNpacking) this week! Loving the holidays! Tuesdays' night class @ TTC, late night Champions league football, Beerfest, Hoon & PE bday celebration (sitting by the river, each holding an ice-cream in our hand... how cool la.) TQ meeting & chilling @ Vittles, Buffet dinner @ Sakura, AND spending more time with Da, plenty of basketball & sleeping @ home! Like, finally. Phew.

Downside is, put back on the weight I lost during the exams... URGH. Should start the weight-loss programme, a.k.a. drink less beer and eat more air.

Busy times ahead. Gotta shift back home right after the exams end. Making way for the Youth Olympic games... ... I wonder why NTU students ain't that excited about the YOG at all. Well, me inclusive that is. No brouhaha. No nothing. Guess we're all so absorbed in our own survival fights that these are more like distractions rather than something else.

Jobs are hard to come by these days... Praying praying praying. One more year to go... need to know what to do next.

Feeling the love~~
It always feels nice to have people remembering your birthday.

G-shock, hand-drawn card, laptop cooler, necktie, shopping vouchers, Adidas jersey (somehow I knew you were getting it...), more cards and plenty of cakes! (7 + 1 ice-cream to be exact... oh my waist...)

Exams coming up in 2 weeks. I'm done with all the CA reports and assignments. Left with 1 CA project, 2 project presentations, and 4 tests. All in 2 weeks.

Dizzyyy. But I guess it beats working out there right now. Shall not complain. The grass on my side is greener this time round.

Drum class has officially ended. And we're now free to roam, try, test and serve. But follow-up activities/actions must be done to keep the interest growing. If else, whatever learned will not be retained for long. Teaching others is one way; but that might not work for everyone, and doubt it'll last.

More can be done. But, what? Think think think...

Just an observation: people tend to not like doing what others tell them to do; instead they like to do what they want to do. even though what they were told to do was the right thing to do, there is a tendancy for them to not do it. better still, some actually do what others tell them to do, but they tell other people that they did it cos' that's what they want to do, and not what others told them to do.

So, to do? Or not to do? HA!

Well, I think the 'grade' issue is more of a gone-case now. Sent in an appeal and the office will get back to me in a month's time. Well, in the words of the prof, chances of successful appeals are really low. Even if there's a mistake committed by the office during compilation/tabulation, tendency is that they won't amend it.

Guess I should leave it as that. Shan't talk about it anymore.

Will learn from this: to trust and to be humble.

CNY celebrations wasn't exactly a blast. Constantly thinking about the work that had to completed. To think of it, gonna graduate in about one year. Wondering what lies ahead. Wondering what should be done. Wondering what is planned for me. Wondering the wonderings...

Know what? I have people asking me (during the CNY visits. those nosy aunties and all): "So when are you graduating? ... ... Oh i see, very fast hor... ... looking for a job soon? ... ... Oh i see, see how hor... ... SO WHEN ARE YOU GETTING MARRIED? ... "

For all blinking-nuts in the world, I was beyond words and the only one audible vibration my throat could conjure was: "huh?"

Man am I getting old. 24. 24 24 24... I'm almost half one-third through my life. Half a decade more to the 'elusive' 30.

Just a random thought. Re-watched Ironman (the movie) not long ago, and I wonder, of all the superheroes that made it to the big screen, which hero's life would have been the best to live in? I mean, have you thought about it? Maybe not the ladies out there, but I think guys... haha. Every guy must have thought about it at some point of your life?

"What if I was Superman... What if I was Wolverine... What if I was Professor X...."

So this was what I thought for which hero's life was the best to live in:

1. Superman: well, I think many would choose live in his life, no? You can fly, you have strength to shift the moon, bla bla bla. And OH! You can see THROUGH things, physically. *evil laughters*. But hey, I mean, having to conceal your identity whenever you put on that latex suit and have your red undies on the outside just doesn't cut for me.

2. Batman: Smart, rich, influencial, adored by the people of Gotham. Though he has got no superpowers, his super fit body and all the a-la-007 gadgets (maybe even better) works for him all the time. But living in a world where all the bad guys are psychotics (read: Joker), black undies on the outside, and mostly spending his time with his butler (old man) and gay partner, eh, I mean... side-kick Robin (young man), aint' really that enticing.

3. Professor X: This guy reads people's minds! But I guess that's the most powerful thing anyone can do, and that's one heavy responsibility to bear. Moreover, he's bald.

4. Wolverine: Strong, powerful, never gets injured (or rather, he heals ultra-quickly) and those really cool claws of his... ... However, he's just one sad sad character whom never got to be with the one he likes. Not the kind of life that's really attractive, though he's really cool...

5. Spiderman: Everyone's childhood hero! Getting bitten by the radioactive spider, he can scale walls, swing through buildings, super-human strength, spider-senses, etc etc... I mean, what more can you ask for right? Well, he's up there on my list. But not the top. You'll see why...

6. Fantastic 4: I think they're just plain freaky. Really. And they can't live without each other.

7. The Hulk: "Hulk angry!"... and he turns green. Enough said.

8. Ironman: Filthy rich, intelligent, suave, charismatic, and his suit... Ooo la la. His like a bit of everyone else. Though he has ZERO super-powers, but heck, he's as powerful! The cars he drives, his house (it's not a CAVE), his jets, his tech, the girls he date =P, his personal assistant... what more can you ask for? I guess that's why Spidey has to make way for him. HAHA! Ironman probably has got the best life for one to live in, wouldn't you agree?

I know there are many MORE on the big screens and whatever I just blabbled is arguable. But hey, a 24 year-old should technically be studying for his 007 test now, and this is his form of entertainment. So do let him have his peace. Thank you. =P

Oh, on another perspective, if I could just HAVE any of their superpowers and not live their lives, the guy with the red undies on the outside would be the obvious choice... who wouldn't want to carry their hot-dates in their arms and fly to Paris/Rome/London/Seville/etc for romantic dinners and more? And the ability to see through things is well... useful. HA!

I've been in an incessantly foul and angst-y mood since receiving my attachment results. I still can't get over it and I'm setting up a meeting with my Prof.

It's not that the grade was totally bad, but I'm absolutely sure that I deserved better.

Or am I just another victim of this very flawed system that all students are going through? How is it fair that another student who plays computer games for a large portion of his time at work; and while he's actually working, it's of no engineering relation, and that student gets an A, and yet another student who works hard for 22 weeks on his project that benefited the company so much that even his company supervisor thought that he deserved a better grade?

It's so vexing. So frustrating. So much angst inside.

On another hand, that really might have been the best grade he could give me. But I need to know why. I guess my head's really clouded.

Still trying to get to come to terms with everything now. And there indeed are a lot for me to learn. Humility. Submission. Faith. Praying that I'll come to see it from Your point of view soon. I really need to...

We're feeling EVEN MORE TIRED THAN EVER. (quote, unquote: DYING or DEAD, for some) Haha.

Not only we have a shorter holiday than those who didn't do their IAs last semester, the modules themselves are all double 0 agents of the NTU secret service, with a license to kill and destroy our very living nutshells AND nuts...

So we have the trigger-happy agents all lined up, ready to blast us to oblivion this semester:

007: Analysis of Materials.
You think he's the most lethal? James B*nd? He's actually the LEAST of our concern this time round. And yeah, for some uncanny reason(s), girls actually like 007.

006: Econs of Manufacturing
3 hours of PAINFUL and time sapping interrogation with him EVERY WEEK, and not to forget the 'end-of-the-day' report we have to come up with... Oh man, should have shut my ears when he read me my Miranda rights...

005: Materials Design
A joke Joel came up with: Where do crazy squirrels go? The answer: To the nut-house. This is one of the least painful jokes he came up with - DURING 005. 'nuff said. Go figure.

003: Materials Failure
So he started off with: "What is, my dear friends, FAILURE?"
Under my breath: "Not an option for you, but a sure thing for me..." BAH! Corrosion chemistry, electrochemistry, chemical characterizations, failure analysis, failure physics, failure STATISTICS... ... Can't... breath... ... ...

002: Advanced Materials Processing
He's dashing, suave, big muscles, huge guns, cool gadgets... totally the most lethal of all agents. But it's not his looks that's killing us. Nor is it his martial arts or weaponary or toys - it's the simple fact that we could NEVER understand what he's trying to tell us... like... N-E-V-E-R. It always seemed like the sentences coming out of his mouth are encoded, then played-backwards and recorded, then encoded again, and then played at a speed so fast we "catch no balls." He's a nut-cracker.

001: Metallic & Ceramic Materials
He's been kind. But somehow... he looks hideous. It's probably the peace before the storm. Bracing ourselves for it. Not that there's much we can do to 'siam' it... Enjoying it while it lasts.

Think I'll be needing more helmets and bulletproof vests. Haha... =)

I've been poisoned... by foooooooooood!...

No vomiting, no serious diarrhea, no fever... but SEVERE CRAMPS that makes me feel as though I'm a teenage girl encountering her first mensus (cramps).

Doc's remedy: Charcoal pills.

He said: "Just have to bear with it for 2-3 days. Rest more and let your body purge the poison. You should be fine."

YEAH RIGHT. It's the 2nd day now. I ought to get better by tmr...

Dear friend, kindly offer up a prayer for your poor poor friend who's curled up like a shrimp ya? Haha.

First day of school...

- Madness at the printing shop

- Madness at the canteens during lunch time

- Madness at the office with everyone collecting their 'clickers'

- Madness at the libraries with everyone rushing to add/drop their subjects

- Madness at the bus-stops when lessons finally ended

But thank God!

- I printed most of my stuff last week, and so I could skip the queue today. And also Wensen leaving his printer in the room so I could print the nitty gritty stuff now and then.

- Joel and I found our way to Canteen 2 where there weren't much people. Nice food, no crowd, just a tad smelly. But that's alright.

- We went to the SAO after seeing the queue at the office. The queue was gone when we came back from SAO.

- I left it to Him if I were to get enrolled in HT401 Translation: Appreciation, Criticism & Evaluation. And I got it eventually. No panicking, like I usually would.

- I didn't have to take a bus home after lessons. I stay in Hall now.

Wow… how quickly has the weekend passed? I’m feeling even more tired than I was before the weekend began! Haha…

In any case, the weekend passed fruitfully. Friday spent dolling up the church for the wedding. Only one regret: should have brought an extra t-shirt. Man, the church benches are HEAVY.

Tried the new KFC A.M breakfast on Sat morning. Got to church just on time. All girls were pretty and all guys were pretty handsome. Ha! Was my first witnessing a church wedding. 不时会有一点点的感动。。。

Went down to Chinatown. It was fantastic wasn’t it? Got to see some cool stuff, had not-too-bad dinner, posed for photos with 5 for $3 muachees, saw a Taiwanese celebrity, had nice dessert, had fun, and had some lame moments courtesy of Zhiyuan.

Double checked: uncle on our left did no nose-digging.

Guess these 2 weeks would be the busiest of the entire internship. Getting really spent both physically and mentally. Have to evaluate the final 4 pieces of the project, each would take one day to complete. On top of that, have to meet the deadline, 3^rd week of November, when Prof Zhao would be coming down to assess us, and collect the logbook and the much dreaded Final Report.

But somehow, I’m thankful that I’ve been keeping my logbook updated, and that I’ve started the report at earlier. Comparing myself to the rest of the guys, I dare say that I’m quite a bit ahead of them, though all of them have already completed their projects. Thank God for really pushing me through these few weeks; probably preparing me for the final few where the race against time really begins.

但是主的恩典够我用。。All will be just right. =)

Can’t wait for the break to come… but even then, things would still be at break-neck speed. Owells…

Looking forward to:

1: End of internship… 22 weeks….

2: Meeting up with the 6-ists… EH PEOPLE! WHEN WHEN WHEN?!? Ber’s exams are coming ya? Alv’s too? And the working ladies… u two seem darn busy too… shall we meet up for drinks or something? Let’s make it happen ya? =)

3: Inter-hall basketball competition and training. Pay back time.

Fruitfully busy.

Samples SEM & EDX on Fri afternoon. Balled in the evening and late late dinner. Stayed up late and caught Horton. Cute aye? Especially that yellow fur-ball. Ha!

YTDS’s baby shower on Sat morning. Youth leader & DS meeting in the afternoon and Y10 ten year anni dinner at OCC in the evening. Bean curd for supper and 2am jogging. Stayed over again. Yaays!

Yakun on Sun morning. Did a little detour. You owe me another one now. =P Small group in the afternoon. Played board games. Still think I ‘own’ Cocotaki. Muahaha. Youth class after worship. Dinner after class. Bean curd again after dinner.

Monday morning tuition. 2.5hours is the time taken to complete ‘refreshing’ the entire combined science physics. Simply amazed by how I can condense info. Lunched at AMK. How many more coffee shops to go? Hope the little red thing kept you company. Shopping with family. Dad bought a tonne of clothes for himself. First time. and I got none. Boo-hoo. Ha! Dinner at Thomson. Thinking of going for a jog now.

And so, here it goes.

Like I say, (again), M*x P*yne IS a pain in the *ss. The adverts are so totally misleading. No point… no point.

And to my horror, they allow the F word in PG rated shows these days. This is bad.

I’m really happy that we have got so many people turning up for the ‘early’ Saturday morning games. I have to admit that I was very worried that the attendance might be bad. But some how, the total number of people was miraculously MORE than what I expected. It was simply amazing. Thank God.

The weather was great, the games were fun, we had a good time together, a new friend joined us… I mean… it was totally what I did NOT expect. God really work in amazing ways, doesn’t He? =)

Music practice at night was rather sleeeeeeeeeeeeee-py. Haha. Had to fight the Z monster constantly to keep awake. HA!

Well, supper was good. The food was yummy (except for some of the dodgy dim sums… shark’s fin anyone?) and we had a good laugh… didn’t we? =P

And no… I don’t think I complain a lot when I drive. I’ve seen worse. REALLY.

Drinks and board games was a HIT! Haha. Bethel Hall was filled with laughters and friendly jeers, hoo-rays and some really loud cheers.

I guess, best part was when YYDS went ‘MOOOO’ when the card showed a sheep. Think that game really makes you stupid after playing for a while huh? =)

Hmmm. Red Bull Vodka tastes like medicine ya? Heh. Next time we’ll try the Moscato, shall we? =)

It’s been a very long week.

This is a bit delayed, but… WELCOME BACK! Haha. thanks for the tau sar pia and the not-so-nice chewing gum. But appreciate it lah… =P oh oh! And the eggy chocolates. HA! It’s still in the fridge. Still finding a nice day to eat them… sinful!

Had basketball training with the Hall peeps. Still considering if I should play for the hall. An almost guaranteed place in the team of 12. And high chance of getting into the first 5. But still… a commitment of Mondays and Wednesdays. What should it be? Pondering pondering.

And yes, still have to improve that jump-shot. It’s gonna be a trademark real soon… I hope. =P

Oh, did I mention about that new phone? Not THAT new… but… I’m in love with it. *grins* I can even tune my guitar with it! HA!

Board games at Settler’s. Fun games, silly games, lame games, ok-ok food & drinks, great company and great fun!

Highlight of the night must be having me to smell SOMEONE’s armpit and say “hmmm… smells like cookies” to move 4 steps ahead of the board game. Haha! *gross* Heh. Good thing you put perfume lah… thank God man! =P

Went ‘shopping’… didn’t get anything for myself. And ended up eating a heck lot of food for the next couple of days. Tsk tsk. Think we really should stop procrastinating le lah… hah!

Spent some time at Palawan. Saw some colourful parrots, a monkey with a funky ass, caught the animal show, saw a little boy using his small hands to cover his back and front because his dad refused to dress him until he goes into the water, and saw a hot babe in white & red bikini. Ooops! =P

And then a lot of food went into the tummies.

I love that peanut butter and condensed milk thick toast. And that red bean paste is yucky. HA!

It was a really really good sharing session today isn’t it? So many amazing testimonies and personal thoughts shared among us! Especially Zy’s interesting & creepy encounter and Hl’s many wow-ing experiences… I hope we’re all now even more spurred on to experience God! =)

I’m really very glad to have you guys in the small group. Everyone’s quite comfortable today, even though it’s our first small group gathering. It’s especially so when we’ve got THREE super hyper people in the group (I’m considered NOT hyper. I’m just a bit over-reactive at times. Ha! And Zy, lying is not right…. TSK TSK! HAHA!) Thank God that we’re all so encouraging towards each other, and at the same time so opened to share! Let us keep it up, and continue to pray for each other please… It’s going to be a fantastic time ahead!

To my small group leader, if you’re reading this, which I know you WOULD soon enough, I really want to tell you… WELL DONE! So tired. So so tired.

I slept early last night, hoping that I would feel less tired today. But somehow I still end up feeling even sleepier.

But somehow, I’m feeling really happy today for some unknown reason. It’s just… happy. Like, everything just seemed nicer and greener; even though the side that I am on never seemed to be green.

Maybe it’s the euphoria. Maybe it’s something special. Maybe it’s something else.

Whatever it is, I am enjoying every bit of it. And I am going to relish that feeling again tomorrow!

Dinner was good. And I guess it wasn’t long enough, right? So many things to share. But I hope you’ll consider what I told you just now. Let it not be an obstacle to you.

Things have been kinda hectic these few days. But all is well and fruitful. Thank God. =)

Youth Sunday

Thank God that everything went well. And praise God that He has answered many of our prayers. One of which, was to bring WQ back to our Tuanqi, and other was to finally let HL overcome her problems and join us once again. It’s simply amazing! Let’s keep it up, and do our best ya? Continue praying fervently and purposefully.

Well done to all youths and Daoshis for this Youth Day. I really thought that everything went as planned, and we have accomplished the objectives that we have set for ourselves.

Thank God for the musicians, who coordinated well. Thanks for covering me for the last song (was supposed to do the intro). Think there was something wrong with the connection/feed. My guitar just went sound-less totally. Thanks! Phew.

Thank God for the dancers! You guys really seemed to have enjoyed yourself. I think it’s really cool dancing this time round, not facing the crowd but instead facing the cross. I think that should be the way…! =)

Thank God for those who shared their testimony. It really takes a lot of preparation and guts to stand up there to share. Good job!

Thank God for those who came up promoting the stuff they were supposed to promote. Heh. You guys gave me the breaks that I needed in between the emceeing. =)

Thank God for LY and YL’s new songs. You guys are an inspiration to me. And LY, not bad huh? You have a ‘band of brothers’ who helped out singing towards the end. Heh.

Thank God for the pizzas. Really. heh.

And lastly, thank God for healing my throat and cough before Youth Sunday, so that I could better emcee the event, and did it relatively okay. =)

Basketball Tuesday

It was good to be back. I guess, single rim’s still more friendly to me. Felt great to be back balling with roomie and the others. KL’s getting better, and so is Iwan. Some of the new guys were good. But hey, I kinda made my mark and left an impression that day huh? haha.

HEY Angela! Why were you like, drinking in brought daylight? It was only about 6+pm and your face was flushed like an apple lah… Miss me too much right? Resort to alcoholism ah? Haha. =P

Thursday sharing

More people coming in for sharing. And we have a record number of particpants this time. Heh. Really touched that everyone came down to Bishan for me lah… but was kinda tired that day. Wasn’t enthu enough. Heh.

Friday Friday

Took early off from work to see the knee doc. Went IKEA for lunch before that. Yummy! Cheesecake next time round ya? Haha.

Well, it’s official now – I don’t have to see him (the doc I mean) AGAIN. That means, my knee is alright now! Thank God. Well, I still have to be careful with it though. Another injury to it will really have unthinkable consequences. But hey, I’m just thankful that I can still run about… for now at least. Prays.

Walked around Queensway SC. We saw a pair of Oakley shades that is not too bad. Maybe you should get it… if you really want one. heh.

Rain started pouring and off we went to HSC. This is my 4^th time. And there would be many more to come. And oh, pink bandage was really a mistake. HA!

This means that the team scored 5 out of their 11 3points attempts.

Steals

Well, I think this is easy enough to understand?

Assists

An assist is awarded whenever someone from the team passes the ball to his fellow team-mate, and in turn, that team mate scores from that pass.

Blocks

Eh, it’s considered a block when a player deflects his opponents attempt at the basket (in other words, he prevents the ball from getting into the basket). It is NOT a block shot when the player blocks the ball when it has reached its pinnacle point (highest point) of trajectory. That is considered a ‘goal-tending’, and the points of the shot (2 or 3) would be awarded to the opposing team, regardless if the ball is going into the hoop.

Offensive rebound

Hmmm. An offensive rebound is a rebound that the team grabs after missing a shot. It gives the team another chance of scoring. Understand?

Defensive rebound.

It’s the rebound that the team grabs when their opponent misses their shots.

Total rebounds

Sum of offensive and defensive rebounds.

Turnovers

Okay. This is the most difficult one to explain… A team commits a turnover when they LOST possession of the ball, either their ball gets stolen by the opposing team (this sounds wrong, but I’m too lazy to rephrase it. Hope it’s not too crude. Haha), or they simply lose their possession to the opposing team by stepping out of bounds, or committing a backcourt violation, or ‘travelling’ with the ball, or committing a technical foul when they are on the offence. Ya…

So have I missed out on anything? Hehehe…

Everything happens for a reason.

I guess the anxiety and flashes of panic that I went through this morning made me realize how much everything means to me.

The ‘suspense’ was rather unbearable. Began to reason with myself what might have happened int a bid to soothe some nerves; and indeed, my speculations were spot on. It was only after noon when the revelations came, and the clouds which had gathered since a long time back in my head, finally cleared.

All may seem like a really weird puzzle. It’s uncanny how dreams and ‘interesting’ conversations have crept into our lives. I hope it’s all for the better.

I pray.

But at 2 in the morning we do get a little concerned.

Nothing is that important at 2am that can’t wait till the morning.

When we tell you that you’re pretty/beautiful/gorgeous/cute/stunning, we freaking mean it. Don’t tell us we’re wrong. We’ll stop trying to convince you.

The sexiest thing about a girl is confidence.

Don’t be mad when we hold the door open. Take advantage of the mood I’m in.

You know, the more I work at where I’m working now, the more I don’t see myself as an engineer when I graduate. The guy from Careers Administration Office was right. The IA allows us to have a ‘feel’ of the industry and real world, and essentially enables us to see if we’re suitable for that particular industry. I’m only in to the 4^th week and I guess, the answers pretty clear.

Well, it ain’t exactly mundane: the Job does require quite a fair bit of critical thinking and a small dose of analytical skills.

It ain’t exactly tiring: many a times I find myself jogging after the Job and night class/DGH/dinners, and with plenty more energy to burn. (Well, maybe it’s the guilt of face-stuffing during the day that’s pushing me on.)

It ain’t exactly stressful: there are times when my mind drifts to places during the Job for long periods. I consider that a luxury.

It ain’t exactly bad-paying: I mean, it’s the lowest we can get as an intern… but hey, the proximity and the convenience. What more can I ask for? And I understand that some people from poly actually don’t get paid for their IAs. I’m thankful.

It ain’t exactly, well, bad.

But it’s just… I don’t know. Perhaps my MBTI test was right. ENTJ/ENFJ.

Organizers. Encouragers.

Traits: Driven to turn theories into plans, highly value knowledge, future-oriented, natural leaders, impatient with inefficiency and incompetence, want things structured and orderly, excellent verbal communication skills, self-confident, decisive, and read: DISLIKE routine & detail-oriented tasks.

Well, maybe that last bit about routine and detail explains my daily dread of machine operations…

Career Trends: management or leadership positions in BUSINESS or EDUCATION, where tough-minded analysis and a talent for organization are required. (Business and education huh? So not engineering.)

Most attractive Occupations: Consultant (Management Human Resources), Computer Professional, Physician (Family), Manager (Sales), Manager (Executive), Credit Investigator or Mortgage Broker, Marketing Professional, Administrator (Education), Administrator (Health), Entrepreneur, Lawyer (yeah right.), Judge (Hoon you reading this?!?), University Professors and Administrators.

Crap crap crap. Quarter-life crisis is back! Oh the unknown future! Haha. How different would everything be, should I discover my interest in physiotherapy 3 years back?
